Little typical restaurant, km 0
I went here hoping for a quick and cheap lunch, based on other reviews. The waitress was courteous and the service was fairly quick and efficient, but I felt it was too expensive to justify the quality and quantity of the food. I paid almost 20 euros (â¬15 menu plus drink plus â¬2 cover charge) for a small plate of pasta then a few pieces of cheese with some iceberg lettuce. I suppose they justify it because it's "km 0" and a touristy location. For that amount, I'm sure there are better options in the town, or if you have the time and your own transport you could visit one of the highly-rated restaurants in the nearby mountains and get the "lunch with the shepherds" for only a few euros ore.
Tavolini all'esterno e all'interno, con aria condizionata e video musicali

While touring "picturesque" Orgosolo with its historic murals, we enjoyed a fabulous lunch at Ristorante Sa 'E Jana. We were searching for authentic central Sardinian cuisine and Sa 'E Jana did not disappoint. We were the only ones in the restaurant that is co-located in a hotel bearing the same name. At first, it appeared that the restaurant was closed. We went to the kitchen and once they realized they had customers, the kitchen and staff came to life. This is a family owned and operated establishment and we were warmly greeted by several family members. The matriarch, a kind woman with a warm smile, reported that she has passed her traditional recipes on to her son. They were all quite proud of their establishment. We wanted to taste as many things possible without over-indulging or becoming too full to finish all. There were three of us for a Sunday lunch and the staff recommended we order two portions of each course. This was a great idea and we went along with the plan.We started with a mixed antipasto of local cured meats, salami's, sausage, prosciutto, olives and three types of pecorino (sheep) cheese; smoked, aged and creamed. This came with a basket of the absolute best pane carasau (Sardinian flat bread) I have ever tasted. The owner proudly reported that he has a private woman make the pane carasau her home, in a wood-burning oven, for his restaurant. For the pasta course we had Curlurgiones, which is a type of large ravioli filled with potato, garlic and mint; topped with a creamy pecorino cheese and drizzled with reduced balsamic vinegar. The dish was excellent! The entrée was comprised of two meat dishes; Pecora bollito (boiled sheep) with potatoes and a braised sheep dish. I had eaten boiled sheep (ewe) many years ago with a group of Sardinian men and I was very pleased to repeat the experience at Sa 'E Jana.I highly recommend you try Ristorante Sa 'E Jana when you are in the Orgosolo area. The prices were very reasonable with our meal, plus a half liter of house wine, water and café totaling 68 euro.

For the Easter Holidays we flew over to Sardegna with our two kids.We were sincerely welcomed at Sa Rosada. The restaurant is well located and nicely decorated .The barman was one of the traditional pagan mamuthones in the yearly carnaval and we could try on his ancient mask. He had been to Antwerp,Belgium too with his group in the past. The patron was also extremely friendly and we had a very tasty lunch!

The restaurant is placed in Orgosolo, in the location called Montes, and it is situated at 3,280 feet in the air. Our kitchen proposes traditional Sardinian and Orgosoloâs recipes, made using local products. The menu changes as seasons pass, so that only
We (two families with two children each) were at this restaurant for dinner, after visiting Orgosolo for the Assunta festivity. The dinner was excellent and the service competent and reasonably friendly. We took a sample of appetisers, that were not limited to salami and ham but included also tasty zucchini and eggplants. For the first course we tried ravioli with meat sauce(very good), maccarones (orecchiette) with wild bore (good to very good) and pane frattau (excellent! a must!). Portions were rather generous, hence we decided to go directly to the Seada, a typical Sardinian dessert that was the best of the three or four we tasted in Sardinia. Drank a reasonable house Cannonau, very well suited to the food. For 20 Euro/person, this was the best value/money that we experienced in our three weeks vacation in Sardinia.

I accidentally ordered this as was after lots of vegetables. Canât remember what it was called but last on specials, also pepperoni on menu means peppers not the meat. If the veg selection and cooking was so well done when you ordered a cheese free pizza in other restaurants it would definitely make the vegan option more palatable. Superb! Other meaty pizza option also good. Very popular with locals on a Sunday night, so must be a good one.Gentilissima Pangchetta, la ringrazio per la sua recensione. Spero di averla ancora come nostra gradita ospite. Cordiali saluti.Angelo

From the renovation of an old farmhouse (adapting it to current standards) we recovered the premises suitable for the reception and the restaurant, there is also a veranda with 70 comfortable seats from which you can admire a beautiful landscape with a ba
We were a party of four. Booked 1 day before because we know that agriturismi prepare food only for people who book. The day we were there the owners accepted 6 people who did not book. It ended this way: we did not get ravioli at all (the primo piatto we got was hardly resembling a pasta plate) and we got maialetto for hardly 2 servings. The rest of our food? It went to the table of people who arrived without reservations. Price= 30 euros for about the half what you usually have at an agriturismo in Sardinia. Dear friends you earned 6 more customers that day (180 euros) but lost 4 good customers for life. This attitude (short term gain instead of long-term customer relationships) must change.

To be honest, I went there for lunch because it was the only open choice in low season (november). All the other places in Orgosolo were closed, which is very sad.Nonetheless I'm more than satisfied:Large menu offer (with some local specialities), nice ambiance. Fair prizes and nice service.Warning: Social Media Addicts.... NO WIFI!!!

Ristorante tipico supramonte, centro escursioni. Pranzo coi pastori, escursioni in fuoristrada nel supramonte. Trekking. Nel periodo che va dal 20 Luglio al 30 Agosto 2019. Il martedì la struttura del ristorante e aperta, sia ha pranzo e anche a cena.
We found this place by coincidence, and it was a very pleasant surprise. We ordered a few different pasta dishes, but all of them were made just right, and full of taste. Afterwards we had lamb chops, and some sausage with potatoes. Both things were very good as well the only problem was to finish, as the portions were quiet big. We finished of with espresso and the cake with ricotta and honey. Perfect for rounding of a pleasant night at this place, right in the mountains.
