What a special treat. I ate here for dinner with my colleagues on the balcony. The staff is impeccable. From their professional, yet cheerful demeanor, and dress to their careful place setting and serving, to the amazing food. The food was memorable for its quality and flavorful delciousness. The chicken was fantastic with an incredible crispy piece of skin atop a juicy, perfectly cooked breast. This has been the finest meal I have had in Italy thus far, and one of the best meals and dining experiences I have ever had anywhere. Thank you to the Staff of the Elephant restaurant for a memorable dining experience of both food and service!

Dropped in with friends, the terrace and view amazing the food is fresh and well prepared. Would go back, we turned up almost at the end of lunch service, and if you know this area if the kitchen us closed it's closed - but no problem here.

Very interesting and stylish place with good quality food and drinks. The staff is very polite and accurate at their job. I very much appreciated the fact they served little appetizers with my aperitivo, which seems to be an optional in this area. There are two nice courtyards to one side and the other of the restaurant. The atmosphere is relaxed and pleasant.Dear amohel2016,thank you for your review! Nice hostess and a good lunch in this traditional restaurant. As we were driving we didnt have the opportunity to tase the local wine, but we will the nesxt time we pass by!

tough its the only pizzeria in the village it is a very nice place with large variety of food (mainly Italiano and a small bar.fair price, friendly service. (ask for smaller dishes for kids , they cooperate)

This restaurant is a great place if you have smaller children. There's a special section where they sit families that has a really elaborate play room. My daughter loved it and spent almost all of the time playing there with other little kids. The food is also good and reasonably priced. This is really a local place rather than one catering to tourists so your pocketbook will be happy about that. The pizzas are excellent and the local specialties they serve are also very good..

We reserved a table for a torkelen night and the evening was a blast! Lovely beer, tasty wine, some kind of young wine, very nice! All food seemed to beproduced on the farm. The dishes were enormous and supertasty.the livemusic was lovely and funny tooHey, danke für die späten Komplimente! Very nice cafe in historic surroundings. The staff is friendly and you can sit in the courtyard. Another huge advantage the roofs are covered in light night rods as the the Franzenfeste used to be an arms and gun powder depot for hundreds of years⦠No need to be afraid of lighting .. always good news..
