We found this place by accident and decided to have lunch there. A Hidden gem! Ate very well at a very good price. Small menu but extremely well done. Highly recommended! The only thing missing was no coffee but the owner offered us a coffee liqueur.

We ate here one Saturday evening. We arrived at 9pm when there was only 2 other tables but by the time we left at about 11pm all the tables were full and more families just arriving. It looks as if this is a newly opened restaurant as the inside is immaculate and very tastefully designed with modern as well as traditional features. The menu is very good and prices are good eg pizzas from 4 euro and steaks 12 euro. The quantity and quality were excellent. The house red wine was very good and only 7 euro. This is our best restaurant of our holiday so far - even though most of the others in the area have also been of a very high standard.

Piccolo locale ristrutturato con gusto, tanti gusti con materie prime di buona qualità , ma sicuramente la vera differenza la fa l'impasto molto digeribile, risultato di un lavoro fatto con passione dal titolare. Buono il rapporto qualità / prezzo. Consigliato.

Assieme alla mia famiglia eravamo a fine luglio a Giffoni in occasione del Festival ed abbiamo cenato più volte con pizza al metro e fritti vari. Dal personale gentile e cortese ai prezzi veramente modici, passando per il cibo di buona qualità . lo consiglio per una pizzata senza pretese.

Oggi 08.09.2019, insieme a due coppie di amici con rispettivi figli, abbiamo trascorso una bella giornata in questa location molto caratteristica.Non posso dare il massimo perché purtroppo non lo merita... Abbiamo mangiato in abbondanza ma non tutto cucinato con massima accortezza (diversi piatti sciapiti)La struttura è enorme, ha una piscina, un campo da calcio, un parco giochi per i bambini (un poâ obsoleto), un area relax con sdraio, un parcheggio abbastanza grande e due/tre sale esterne più qualcuna interna.Il prezzo a menù fisso (poichè La Tenuta Castel Rovere per la domenica a pranzo propone un menù degustazione comprensivo di: - Antipasto tipico con prosciutto crudo di Parma e bocconcini di bufala, ricotta, affettati di salumi e formaggi, tris di verdure grigliate e pizze rustiche, sfizi di verdure di stagione;- 2 assaggi di primi con pasta fresca a scelta tra 4 primi uguali per tutti gli adulti del tavolo;- Misto di carni alla brace, con contorno di patate al forno, fritte ed insalata;- Bis di Dolci della casa con Zeppole calde fritte al momento;-coperto e digestivi della casa compresi), è di 25 euro per gli adulti, escluso bevande.Per i bambini: Accesso al parco giochi ed a tutti i servizi, animazione dedicata, campi di calcetto + menù con Fusilli al Sugo e Cotoletta di pollo con patatine a 10â¬, escluse bevande.Possibilità nel primo pomeriggio di GIRO A CAVALLO x bambini al costo di 3 euro.Tutto sommato per trascorrere una giornata di relax in compagnia di amici o parenti con dei bambini, si può fare...magari la prossima volta ci raccomandiamo con lo chef di assaggiare bene le pietanze

My wife and I and two daughters were invited to dine here and expected excellent food and service. What we discovered was the best meal we have ever eaten and a family whose hospitality is warm and welcoming. Each course was expertly prepared and presented. Every bite was a wonderful experience of subtle flavors in perfect harmony. We also toured the B&B and magnificent event areas. We will stay there on our next trip! One of our daughters is already talking about a destination wedding here.

My husband and I enjoyed a late lunch here at Matassa. The service was perfect. They were very helpful with helping us select traditional dishes without making us feel like tourist. All was delicious. Great afternoon.
