This has become our new "local". They have an amazing beer menu, which unfortunately we can't have because we have to eat gluten-free. However, the food is good (I liked the wurstel plate and the chicken burger, and the hamburger is good too). The prices are reasonable, the staff are friendly, and they have been able to help us with gluten-free choices. They even had rice crackers last time we went! If you want a gourmet meal this isn't the place to go. But if you want a relaxed meal with decent food and good service then give it a try!

The trattoria was recommend in a German Guide (M. Kellermann "Gardasee - Zeit für das Beste). We are used to good restaurants (incl. michelin star rated restaurants) and this trattoria suprised us very, very much! The location is nice (we've been on the terrass), the service is very professional BUT the food is clearly on a Michelin Star level!! It was so delicious that we found it was the best food we had for a long, long time! Enjoy it!

local people took us there, seemed an old And village restaurant, but everything was traditionally made and the variety was unexpected! Many salads in a salad bar and a variety of main courses to choose. I had the most tasteful lake fish, considering I don't like it, I had it all!!

La semplicità la bontà l'amabilita' qui sono di casa ambiente rustico ordinato lindo,cibo ben curato,genuino presentato in maniera scenica e policromatca,i gusti piacevolmente particolari,il servizio governato da una giovine signora affabile e simpatica.La nostra cena s'è cosi composta,2 eccellenti antipasti vegani presentati in 7 mucchietti differenti e variegati di verdurine finemente tritate.2 ottimi primi,tagliatelle con sesamo e carbone vegetale e gnocchi con gorgonzola e non ricordo l'altra sostanza ma veramente buonissimi.2 dolci,torta cioccolato e zenzero e semifreddo alla liquerizia e stevia,sublimi!Una bottiglia di graditissimo vino autoctono,una bottiglia di acqua,2 caffe da moka,per un conto onesto e totale di 50 euro.Non ritornare in un luogo del genere equivarrebbe non amare la propria esistenza.Complinenti e che Dio vi abbia in gloria.

I had decided to have lunch close to the lake! Impossible to park too many people around , it was on May 2016. So I left the lake side driving around country side. I was a great and appreciate surprise to follow the road in direction of nowhere.I stop at Borgo Antico, full of locals and I had no reservation of course. I don't speak Italian but the waiters were pedagogue enough to help me [ first with the menu the bill etc) Nice food , quiet place everything I needed ! I had one eye on the kitchen by the open door It seems to me that the Cooks enjoy a lot their time ! First, I want to thank , Alessandro, Dominico, and Nicolo for always making my/our meal a dining experience, it was absolutely beautiful. I cannot say enough about the food...as I have said before in a previous review of Bettoletto...everything, and I mean everything, is absolutely delicious. The pasta dishes, and the vegetarian lasagna, which I had for the first time 2 weeks ago, was wonderful. I always order the house wine, both rosso and bianco, as it is quite good. Tough to go wrong here ordering anything.

Con amici abbiamo vissuto una bellissima esperienza con un ricco buffet di antipasti offerto da personale bravissimo, professionale e simpatico. Per primo un risotto FAVOLOSO mantecato ai porcini e nocciole con gelato salato bagoss. Un secondo di guancialino tutto accompagnato da ottimi vini. Il mio preferito che consiglio è GARDA GROPPELLO. Esperienza da ripetere.

Having not had a great experience in Desenzano since arriving this little place changed things. Since walking through the door being greeted with âsit wherever you would likeâ to the delicious food it was really lovely. The carbonara and lasagne potions were the perfect size accompanied by a bruschetta to share and a bottle of Sauvignon. Having a rule that makes me never go back to the same restaurant twice in one trip the best compliment I can give this little jewel is that we will return to spend our last evening here oh and the tiramisu
