The hotel is definitely upmarket from the one we were staying in, some 15 minutes walk away (La Cantera, where we had eaten very satisfactorily the previous night).We decided to try the Mercure for comparison and noticed that the busy restaurant consisted almost solely of 'people of a certain age'. The restaurant itself is one large room, nicely decorated, but which feels a little like a refectory and is therefore equally noisy.The food was very good, but the service was very unsatisfactory: it was slow, and orders were continually being mixed up â not just for us but for others too. It will be fine once they get a grip and do some proper staff training or better staff selection.

It is the cheapest place in Puerto Iguazu. We paid 100 pesos for 2 of us and we had enough for a dinner. There is great variety of dishes. If you are in hurry or short in budget, I would surely recommend Sabores!

we had to wait a long time after we ordered to get the food. After waiting too log we asked and they told us there was a problem in the kitchen. The pizza was nice, the salads average. You have to carry cash to tip the waiter, because you cant charge it in the credit card bill

Had our best meal in Aguazu here. The resturanr is in a lovely building with atractive blue glass decorations/ art.The nenu is in both Spanish and English. Staff are very helpful and attentive.The food tasted lovely.A very pleasant place to eat out. Thank you Aqua.

We stayed in the Hotel Grand Crucero Iguazu with my wife and daughter and had dinner in this restaurant which is in the hotel. It is the same space where they serve breakfast but they decorate it differently for the dinner. Menu is good. It has good options for every taste. I ordered a pork and my wife had fish. Our daughter ordered chicken from the kids menu and it was really large portion. They brought it upfront as we asked for it.Because our little one was really tired my wife went with her to the room. We asked the staff to deliver the dish and some wine to the room for my wife and they so very politely. I was very happy with the service.My pork dish was really good and the fish that my wife had was good too.If you are staying in the hotel it is definitely worth while to have dinner here. If you are staying in other places you might reconsider. Food is good and so is service.

The service here was friendly helpful and the right balance of attentiveness and privacy. We had the special and a pasta along with a nice bottle of very quaffable Malbec. First night in Puerto Iguazu and we choosed this placer since it was lively that saturday and we had been travelling for 28 hours and were soo looking forward for a steak. We both got the bife de chorizo with mushroom sauce and french Fries and it totally served the purpose. Got mine medium just like I wanted it and it was good. I've had better experiences though for the same price, during these weeks in Argentina and it felt more like a steak on a franchise(which this might be, not sure) than an authentic Argentinian steak. Place was busy so we had to call for attention to order and waited quite long in order to get the food. This place dont serve bread while you are waiting(atleast didnt when we were there) which we have gotten used to here in Argentina and is something that keeps your eyes off the clock whilst waiting for food. To sum it up it was although worth the money.

Ordered the filet mignon didnât care for the steak fries it came with but the steak was cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious. A generous portion as well. Had shrimp for an appetizer and they were good. Bigger sizes deep fried shrimp. The passion fruit sauce was delicious. Others orders a chicken Caesar salad and à milanesa steak although it has a different name for it here. Everything was good except those steak fries. We ordered some regular fries and those were good. They serve Pepsi products here along with wines. They take credit cards, dollars, AR pesos, Reis, and Paraguay Guarani. The bill had the total figured for each. Service was excellent. Waiter spoke English, português and Spanish. We were hungry but a bit worried it was a tourist trap but we were pleasantly surprised that it was flat out delicious. Highly recommend.

Amazing food and nice people. It was better than the highly recommended restaurants in Buenos Aires. The steak was high quality and perfectly cooked and the gnocchi with 4 cheese sauce was delicious. Salad was fresh and tasty as well. Without question the best meal we had in Iguazú

We ate there two nights, the food was exceptional, the wait staff attentive, and they appears to speak about every language save perhaps Swahili!?It is a fine dining restaurant with mid rage pricing. Some of the locals in Iguazu said it was the best restaurant in the entire city and based on our experience, I am not surprised.
