We had a great meal here for four. Lovely food, great service and a nice atmosphere. This Indian provides an excellent takeaway service! We chose the Bengal Lancer as an alternative to our usual Indian, as it was undergoing refurbishment. Despite having no expectations, we enjoyed a brilliant meal at a very reasonable price! The staff were so helpful, speedy on the order and friendly. The food was of excellent quality, and we will be returning here for the next one!

Went for our usual monthly curry and was flabbergasted to see it had changed hands and was now under new management.The first thing we noticed was the ambiance had disappeared, no more flowers on the tables or candles and the cardinal sin one of the first things the new owners have done is raise the prices!!! However reviews are mostly about the food, gone was my favourite starter of garlic mushrooms (disaster) to be fair the curries we both had were not too bad and very tender meat but alas we will now be looking for a new favourite restaurant.

We have had 3 amazing curries in the last 2 months from Tongham Curry house. Always delivered piping hot and delicious. Chicken shashlik is always tender and the jalfrezi my husband has is amazing! So glad we have discovered how yummy our local takeaway is!!

First time here with freinds after they recommended it and have to say it was really nothing special, staff were nice and service was fine but the food was nothing more than average and certainly not as good as my local indian.

This restaurant suffers from vast menu with to few customers. All dishes were available but some were dried and had been there to long. The salad selection looked tired. Thai was definately non authentic and although I love Thai didn't choose any just on the look. The special I must say was exceptional as was the fish curry. There was one chicken dish that wasn't pleasing on the eye but was full of flavour and the chicken cooked perfectly. Gulab jamen was very good as was the mouse. But mouse portions in thimbles and the desert bowls tiny. I cannot review the Japanese or sushi but my lunch partner seemed pleased.

Decided to try this restaurant as the reviews seemed very good and had a throughly enjoyable evening.We ordered the Chicken Shaslik, which arrived as a proper sizzler. We also had lots of sides all of which were piping hot and very tasty. Particularly liked the Saag Aloo and Onion Bhahji. If there was one observation, it was the vegetable curry. It was a bit watery and tasteless but overall still a very nice meal that didnât break the bank.Will definitely be back.

I've had a takeaway a number of times from Cove Tandoori but my latest one has been, by far the best one I've ever had. That also includes a Michelin star curry house in Cardiff! The food was piping hot, tasted amazing and really made me want to order another one...Onion bhajis were crispy, Chicken tikka makhani was delicious and the naan was light. I'm very much looking forward to having another!
