Transalp Stopover for one night via Booking.com

Great location at lake Reschen with perfect view (snow a little uphill beginning of August) for a short stay on a Transalp from Munich to lake Garda with racing bikes. Great dinner, pool, sauna and relaxing rooms. Very friendly staff and bike garage. Not cheap but a good value after biking Fernpaß and Reschen while raining. Great for regeneration to restart for Vinschgau with up to 30 degrees starting at around 4 degrees at lake Reschen. A plus is a well equipped bike garage to spend some additional oil to the chain of my Bianchi bike from the 70s.

The wine list and the advices for local products are very interesting and the breakfast amazing. People in the restaurant and at the reception were ready to do anything to please us. With an excellent ratio quality for price we ll go back there for sure

One of Our Favorites!

We had an excellent 4 night stay at Hotel Tyrol. It's a traditional Tyrolian hotel. Our room was very unique with lots of stone, leather and wood features. Always clean and comfortable. The staff did not speak a lot of English but we managed with our limited German and Italian. Everyone was very pleasant. We liked the location and free parking in front of the hotel was available. It was a great location for hiking and exploring the Val Venosta region. It was an easy walk to shops and grocery stores in the town but it (Malles) is a small and quiet place. We opted for the half board and the meals were very good. We had an assigned table for our meals. Local wines were inexpensive and good. There were many options for breakfast as well. We'd love to return to the Val Venosta and the Hotel Tyrol would be our first choice for a place to stay!

Nice hotel with modern rooms and facilities. Good views across the lake. Easy bus access to skiing although many people seem to drive. Very good food & service. Nice lounge area with wood fire and adjoining bar. Wellness areas are great although can get busy. It is on the main road but only a small village so not much traffic. Would strongly recommend and hope to return next year.

The hotel is fine. Clean rooms, nice views, ok bed. Wifi is not that great. Breakfast is good. It’s a pity people are smoking right in front of the entrance of the hotel. My problem with the hotel is the terrible food in the restaurant. Almost everything is from a can, nothing is fresh.
