Beautiful staycation
Reviewed By tugraHad a lovely stay in Edgewood we stayed for 4nights . Very clean place peaceful if your looking for a quite atmosphere. We tried the food at the restaurant and kudos to the chef! The only side done side they should improve was the bathroom drainage. Will definitely be back if i need a staycation in Thika. Carol at the reception was very professional and welcoming. Keep up guys!!!

Reviewed By ckiarie2002keService was very very very slow and the restaurant seemed understaffed. Waiters seem overwhelmed and very unmotivated. Food was good though. We had fish wet fry , fish dry fry , pork and chicken with chips , ugali and roast potatoes. The food was tasty and nice.

Reviewed By Discover450940I wanted a quiet place out of town, preferable with a swimming pool and not too expensive. I booked a room in Bubbles for 2 days and came to “the perfect place” for me. I probably stay here for much longer. So beautiful place! The room is clean, nice bathroom, big bed, balcony on two sides. Perfect view from the balcony. Right now I watch two big eagles over the forest. I was welcomed by Purity and immediately felt like being at “home”. All others who work here is also extremely nice and service minded! The pool area is also lovely. Nice pool and vert clean and tidy. Bubbles is also a restaurant frequently visited by locals. In the evening its often a lot of people there, which I think is very nice. Sitting there having some food and beers just observing. Then back to the room some 100 meter downhill where its totally peace and quiet. When writing this I'm sitting at the balcony in the evening. The hippo in the river next by decided to hav his/her gym.... For me this was the perfect place!

Totally disappointing, women have rights too and i stand with my wife and all women they have a right to dress as they wish and be served anywhere regardless of you opinion.

Traumatized Experience
Reviewed By Esther MChecking in for one day turned to 5days coz the place is amazing. The investor had a very heavy yet good investment of the rooms, Spa, Swimming pool, Gym and conference. Sadly,the management of the hotel is so hazardously terrible, waking up to noise from the roof top swimming at 2am to a group of drunk campus youths. The manager, Mr. Patrick Toli, barely can control his own staff members. I witnessed staff members getting drunk at work and one who even broke into the bar at night to steal alcohol. The hotel is under terrible poor management. To add insult to injury, the assistant Manager, Vincent , will hull insults at a guest for a delayed bank transfer transaction. I was so harrassed by these too managers that I had to call 911 for help. I was at the hotel with my 6yrs old daughter and what we experience on the last day was so traumatizing that I literally fear getting into Thika just at the memory of the harrassment of these two managers. The harrassment escalated when Vincent, the assistant manager,tried to bribe the police men so that I can be arrested. Thanks to understand the Kenyan law and Constitution I knew my rights well. The kind policemen were gracious to settle the matter and allow my daughter and I to have peace and check out the following day. Long story short we are now in court and I can NEVER EVER, recommend any one to visit the hotel. It's a recipe for disaster, am glad am alive thanks to the intervention of police officer after I dailed 911. Sexual harrassment from the Operations Management is real and rejection is handled with brutally approaches. Sad.... Traumatized.... Distraught......... I fear city hotels
