A Dream on Koh Samui
Reviewed By juergenz923Only a good flight hour from the lively capital Bangkok and a 30 km long transfer, a unique dream world on the Gulf of Thailand awaits you. Away from the tourist hustle and bustle in the north of the island of Koh Samui, InterContinental operates a small hideaway here with less than 80 units (rooms, suites, villas). The entire hotel complex is scattered over a hill and enjoys a fantastic view of the islands of the Gulf of Thailand and the surrounding palm-covered island of Koh Samui. Due to the size of the hotel, individual service is almost guaranteed. Our longer stay at this resort was made very pleasant by a more than generous upgrade to a comfortable villa. This was furnished with everything you can expect from a luxury hotel today. The air conditioning also worked flawlessly. To the beach or to the main building you were brought on request with a buggy, which was extremely pleasant due to the hilly location of the hotel complex. Several villas of the complex also have their own small swimming pool. We had the choice between the main pool by the sea or one of the smaller pools scattered throughout the complex, which are available to every guest. Of particular note with all the pools is that the surrounding areas are provided with non-slip tiles, which greatly contributes to the safety of guests. It is particularly noteworthy that the hotel has provided many of the plants on the site with a small sign to familiarize themselves with the name of the trees and shrubs and other details. A great idea! The Club InterContinental, to which we had access, is set up in the open lobby with guaranteed panoramic views and also includes a smaller enclosed space, which is relatively poorly air-conditioned and therefore not particularly inviting. The range of food and drinks in the Club area was outstanding during our stay. Smaller hot dishes were also available. Breakfast was taken in the main restaurant below the Club InterContinental. The service was always very personal and accommodating. The level of food and drinks, their presentation and the wealth of variations corresponded to the high standards of the house. Overall, the guest at IC Koh Samui can expect a very individual service. Not only the friendliness and effectiveness of the entire staff of the house contributes to this, but also and above all the omnipresence of the General Manager Tibor Horvath, who personally exemplifies the high level of service. For this we would like to thank all the employees we met.

Nice private villa
Reviewed By EETaWe booked room to celebrate birthday and we got an upgrade to pool villa. The room is big enough for two with private pool right in front of your bedroom. Birthday decoration was the best and memorable. Staffs at restaurant were very friendly and gave us some useful info during our trip. Quiet area with nice sunset. It’s one of the best place to relax.

Once again, special thank you to Khun Jack on his outstanding yet attentive heartfelt service, Khun Ith (Front desk), Khun Sprite, Khun Un Atthapol, Khun En (from Zest), the male pool attendant on 22nd May afternoon, as well the amazing House keeping, F & B, Engineering and not to forget the Conrad Service teams. Sibaja Palms is located in Ban Taling Ngam at the Five Islands Beach on the romantic, unspoiled west coast of Koh Samui in the Gulf of Thailand. Sibaja Palms has two spacious, 2 floors, luxury villas and 4 spacious luxury apartments, beautifully furnished with Teak wooden furniture, plasma tv's, air con and ceiling fan, king size bed, daily free movies, a fully equipped kitchen with microwave and outside terrace. Build around a pool and access to a private beach terrace with sun beds and outdoor shower. A gym is also available upon request. The capital Nathon is just a ten minute drive away and the nightlife of Chaweng and Lamai can be reached in half an hour's drive. This quiet area with wonderful natural features and all year round the best sunsets on the island, is the place to be for an unforgettable, relaxing holiday!

The scenery is truly marvelous, moreover it is 180 degree view. All staffs are well trained with greeting every pass by. The cleanliness is easy to find here at Conrad Samui.

I'm not usually in the habit of writing TripAdvisor reviews but felt I had to make an exception on this occasion because we had such a wonderful time. Due to the pandemic, there were very few guests staying in the resort which was to our advantage because we were treated to the best service. There was such attention to detail; fresh coconuts or banana shakes would arrive every morning presented in the most beautiful way with flowers. The people were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The restaurant was superb and served fantastic food. Also very good cocktails for happy hour between 6-7pm for sunset. At the time of writing, the pool was closed which is a shame because the beach is not ideal for swimming as it is quite shallow. However, when things pick up again I am told the pool will reopen. We were lent a kayak for the duration of our stay and so got our water fix that way. Overall great food, great people, great setting if you want to get away from it all in a very quiet corner of Koh Samui. If staying for a long time, we would recommend getting a car but there is a Family Mart convenience store about 10-15 minutes walk away.

Great place to stay for little money
Reviewed By jitomilaWe were there for 3 nights. The cottage was small but we dont need anything, just cold place to sleep ( there was AC) and bathroom with shower. Our cottage was cleaned every day. We ate at their restaurant and food was delicious. We also rent boat with captain and they took us to island with coral reef to snorchling.

It’s local, quiet, beautiful, authentic: you fall asleep with a prívate sunset show on the beach, stars above and the music of waves, and wake up to an awesome breakfast. Joe is pure kindness and calm, and his place is juste like him.
