Reviewed By cpadanHotel is in a nice location and the people working in the hotel are great. The rooms are worn out, specially the washrooms. The jacuzzi in our balcony has seen better days (although it worked perfectly it looked very worn out), the deck in our balcony had also seen better days. The breakfast and other meals were subpar with very few options for all and even fewer for vegetarians. I didn’t pay for the all inclusive experience and I was happy that I wasn’t tied to the property for any of my meals. A/Cs in the room worked great, the TVs were flat but no channels in HD, all else was comfortable.

Family oriented/Economic
Reviewed By christianbZ9509XOHotel is more family oriented and economic friendly. The staff is 10/10 and had many options to eat (all inclusive bf, lunch and dinner). The only issue was that the rooms could have been upgraded. For the price we paid, it is a real bargain. But I can see how people can not give it 5 stars. Kids running around, outdated bathroom and loud music until 10pm are not for everyone but they were fine for us. Gym could be a lot better. It was in a 10x15 room with outdated machines.

Lovely pousada!
Reviewed By Pippa WStayed for 5 nights in Jan 2021. The pousada is lovely! Room are nice and well appointed, the gardens around the pool area very relaxing, as are the hammocks outside each room. The breakfast was very good too. Rooms had coffee making facilities. The hotel staff were all friendly and helpful, and provided recommendations on eg tour guides. There were some nice extra touches - eg coffee and cakes put out for guests in the afternoon, room towels artfully arranged into animal shapes on the bed each day etc. There's a small games room and gym area by the pool which is great to have, but both are in need of updating and maintenance due to some broken or missing equipment. We stayed in high season which meant some days we had to wait a little while for a breakfast table - not complaining though because the staff were taking care to ensure tables were socially distanced and this meant reduced seating capacity. The pousada is about 10 min walk from the main restaurant area of Pipa; it's very near the road to Praia do Amor.

Beautiful, luxurious boutique hotel!
Reviewed By DelfinoEdwardThis is a lovely boutique hotel located in the tourist town of Pipa, in Rio Grande do Norte. They have a total of 30 bungalows, and half of them have private pools. We opted for a bungalow with a pool and it was worth the difference in price (which wasn’t much). The room had a king-sized (and very comfortable) bed; the room was large and very attractive; the bathroom has a tub for two. The manager told me the hotel has been open about 6 years, but it took the owners about 15 years to grow all the plants on the grounds. There are coconut trees, orchids, many flowering tropical plants and lovely lawns for you to enjoy. “Bupitanga” means “red land” in Tupi-Guarani (the language of the indigenous Indians of Brazil). They probably gave it this name because the hotel sits on a high red clay plateau above the beach (called the Chapadão, or “plateau”). The hotel manager Cleber, our waitress Carol and the waiter at the pool (Charles) as well as the staff at the reception were all incredibly professional, friendly and helpful and added to a wonderful experience.

Don't forget to make a Jeep tour, and beach buggy tour coz it's really amazing. Very clean rooms and comfortable beds. I think will be back there as soon as possible.it's about 3 hours more or less with car from Recife?

The only co mp,laint I have is tbhat the pool bar closes at 9pm. I think they could stay open at least until 11. On the whole recommended
