Aisha guest house sohra is located at the heart of cherrapunjee and its one of the highest peak where u can enjoy the panaromic view of the whole sohra from our terrace. We provide with the best and most comfortable and relaxing stay.the best part is that the owner only prepare the food and let our guest enjoy our traditional food.

Reviewed By ravijit cThe good - Rooms are of decent size, considering this is a guest house. The room and toilet were clean and so was the linen. Despite the guest house being in the Sohra market, it has parking for a few vehicles within the premises. The food and service are good but as another reviewer here mentioned, service starts late. We had a problem with the tea kettle in our room and I came down to the reception at 8 am to seek help. Staff was sleeping on the sofas and the kitchen was yet to start! The not-so-good - This was our first visit to Cherrapunji and due to a heavy downpour, we were late by a couple of hours in arriving from Shillong. By this time, it was dark and because of the rain, very few people were out on the road. We lost our way within Sohra. We spent almost an hour running around in circles within 3 kms of the property, trying to locate it. The GPS kept misguiding us. During this time, several frantic calls to the guest house remained unanswered. Later, the guest house told us that they never received any calls due to a poor network! The guest house runs on a very tight inventory. Be careful while placing your pre-meal orders. It's likely you will not get a second helping. We had ordered Poha to be served in breakfast the next day. The portions were average and we were still hungry. They ran out of bread after serving us three toasts! We feel the guest house is a little overpriced, leaving scope for bargain. As I mentioned earlier, Aisha is in a market and you step out into a lane with buildings all around.

King Size bed room with smart TV and working desk. Hot / cold water available with shower in the bath room . Towel , Shampoo , shower provided for the guest. Breakfast complimentary . Reviewed By Kunal015Visited the resort for 1 night in May with friends. We had booked 3 rooms on the ground floor. The rooms are vert spacious with comfortable bed and sofas. The washroom was extremely clean with proper amenities. Very courteous staff. Food was a bit costly but good quality and taste. Will definitely recommend my friends and family to stay here

Today in front of me some customer came and they said them that room is available. So i think they are not listening to your request once you have paid the money.even today at the time of check in manager told me that there is no available room. So i advise you that if you are booking a room ,be sure and check every thing before you pay otherwise you will be forced to stay in your booked room,even if the room is available.services are so so. Response of front desk manager is very poor. Hand shower hook is broken in my room and there is no man to repair it.no wifi connection.no coffee pouches available in room with kettle.no exhaust fan in the bathroom.exhaust fan area in bathroom is not covered,so insects are coming through that in night. Worst experience of booking this property. Very disappointing for us.

Reviewed By CD4NasikOne of the worst stays in my travels. It's more akin to a guest house or motel or a lodge to crash the night rather than a hotel. Rooms are poorly maintained. Walls were completely damp and accordingly had a weird odour. No mirror in the washroom. Room service was all over the place. They even had the audacity to charge extra for providing a heater in extreme cold weather. No toiletries provided on both days. Breakfast was below power as well - with no salt added in the food. All in all, recommend to avoid. Not at all worth 3k a night.

Reviewed By VickyChhedaIt is a budget homestay with spacious rooms. It has good parking space outside but rooms are quite ok. The heater was available but was not of good quality. All basic amenities were there that a homestay would have to offer. The only negative was they did not cook food for guests so we had to depend on outside food. Also, there is no power backup and there were couple of incidents of power outage, however it was back in sometime. The location of the homestay is really good. It is right in the center and very close to some of the famous attraction of Sohra.

Amazing stay with super friendly host
Reviewed By agarwalvishal14It was an awesome stay in Cherrapunjee and the best part if the property manager Mr John who makes sure that you are comfortable and get what you need. Though it was raining heavily there and we were not able to go to double decker bridge John helped us in giving some guidance to go to some other waterfalls and nearby places which was awesome. Their food is nice and they will prepare whatever you will order. Jiva resort is also nearby and the restaurant in Jiva resort is awesome though expensive. The room are clean and toilets are super clean so no issue with the stay. There are lot of indoor games and books in the common area to be used.
