Reviewed By AlexS13606Paid 3 times the price of superior deluxe room for Royal Suites. What we really gets is 1 extra empty room with a very low end 2 1/2 seat sofa and a TV. There is a kettle for boiling water but there a no free or paid coffee or tea. Also there is an out door jacuzzi that I try to use. After waiting more then 1 hour for the water to fill and it’s only less then half filled I gave up. When for a shower in the very dimly lighted bath room. And come the worst that the hot water is not working. So I have to bath with cold water in the middle of the night. Hotel comes with breakfast included. The buffet breakfast is pathetic. They fried the eggs inside the restaurant without any exhaust and naturally the restaurant is filled with strong smell. I guest it should be ok if I have chosen the cheapest room. As the price is really low and meet all basic necessities and requirements.

Reviewed By Tim-goingaroundThe Banana Resort is 10km from the border of Malaysia (Dannok). Situated in a quiet area near rubber tree plantations. Close to downtown Sadao. The resort has a nice swimming pool with a coffeeshop that offers 24h service. The family running the resort is super friendly and will answer all your questions. Our family booked a bungalow with 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms at back of the resort . In front of the bungalow you can sit and watch the palm trees while having a BBQ... Certainly recommendable.

Reviewed By gita73Stayed here at danok with my mum in september 2019,the hotel is clean and new and not many patrons around.They have a restaurant downstairs and a small coffee bar that serves sandwiches. Also a nice massage parlour near the pool. Staff at the counter speak good english,and they provide free transport to the theme park next door. The worst thing is after dropping us off at the Jurassic park,the driver forgot to pick us up and I had to call the lobby reception twice and they sent a van to fetch us back. Thank god for roaming! Room was large and clean and new,all toiletries were provided.A really comfortable sleep.Restaurant downstairs provides some decent food.Overall a nice quiet place to stay.

Reviewed By Sara YWas there last September. Newly renovated hotel. Clean and modern set-up. Good massage package offer from the Spa. Foot Spa & Thai Massage RM120.00nett per person. The staff at the Spa was really friendly, sorry I can't remember her name. No doubt she really good. Can speak good malay language. The bed was comfortable however the toilet the drain stuck or maybe the design wasn't correct for the water to flow out to the drain. Isn't suitable for kids to shower as will caused room flooded. Convenience area, walk distance to food stall and night club. Simple breakfast nothing to shout about. But I still love the place. Can't wait to be back.

Reviewed By AdyChinHotel yang sangat banyak bilik tetapi lokasi yang agak sunyi kerana terpaksa masuk agak jauh ke dalam daripada jalan utama. Bagi yang inginkan ketenangan boleh menginap disini. Parking bastment kotor dan berdebu, jika terjatuh habis semua baju seluar kotor akibat debu.

Reviewed By Sara YThe staff were friendly. They can speak Malay. Is simple but yet comfortable hotel to stay. Just walking distance to the night life. The spa in the hotel was awesome. Clean, friendly staff, professional and the price was reasonable. However the bathroom was too small and it make entire bathroom wet whenever you shower. The hotel is suitable for couple or whoever travelling with friend for party. Overall and enjoying my short vacation. I'll be back.

Reviewed By David YBooked this hotel as Vista id fully booked. The hotel is kinda old. The room is just basic with old furnitures. Lack of any upgrade or renovation. Bed was ok and quite comfy. However the bed sheet was a bit dirty. Since im gonna just stay 1 night so is ok for me. There are massage place and karaoke which is a plus point although I did not visited either of it. Location wise was ok. Quite near to main road where you can find restaurants and 7 eleven. Overall is just an average hotel and nothing much.

Pleasant & Interesting Stay In the Heart of ACV
Reviewed By DarylLauTaking expectations to a more realistic level considering Dannok as a destination, VJ Villa & Container really isn't a bad option especially with it's great and calm location. We could hear birds chirping early in the morning and the beds were comfy indeed. The container was equipped with a 40" LCD TV which is huge considering the size of the container and the 2 things we all loved most is the powerful hot shower and fast wifi. The only slight downside would be the lack of staff so service isn't great and overall cleanliness of the grounds but I am nitpicking here. For the price, the convenience of walking to ACV various attractions and being closer to nature, I doubt you will get a much better value stay in the entire Dannok. Do note that if you book via online booking portals, breakfast may not be included.
