Terrible experience
Reviewed By Traveler4Fun_99Poor maintained rooms with unpleasant smell and broken pieces in the bathroom. Could not sleep all night, first because of uncomfortable bed, then the heat (no AC), followed by dogs barking and noises from other rooms. It was the worse hotel of my stay in Italy. Overpriced meals and limited choices for breakfast. Perhaps it was a glamorous hotel once. Not anymore. Pity because staff is very friendly.

There's even a white baby grand piano in the lobby of the event hall, which the management kindly allowed my friend to play! The price was more than reasonable for the quality of the property and I would definitely stay there again.

Excellent value for money
Reviewed By HamperWe stayed for one night in a superior room. Really nicely decorated, with good quality linen and towels. The room was very clean and spacious and the bed very comfortable. The reception staff were extremely friendly and polite and the restaurant staff were equally as good. It was very helpful having secure parking included in the cost. The town of Avellino is very nice and it was a shame we didn’t have more time to explore the town and the surrounding area. We plan to stay again next year on our way back to Naples airport.

Great hotel & staff
Reviewed By Anna ABooked this hotel as we were visiting relatives close by and I liked the look of it and it did not disappoint. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The gardens were well presented and cleaned daily. The restaurant food is great as we ate there a lot however the breakfast could have been better as it was the same thing everyday. Also if your using the pool make sure you bring a cap for your hair as we didn’t bring one with us and we couldn’t use the indoor pool & we really didn’t want to use the ones they give out to guests :s So we made use of the outdoor pool which was quite cold but refreshing once you got in. The hotel room we had was a standard and it was cleaned daily. I have just a couple of issues with the room and those were: 1) the shower stall could be made a bit bigger I’m a size UK 14 and if your any bigger than this it would be a problem getting in and trying not to bang your elbows of the sides as you wash. 2) this may not be an issue for most people but the mattress was too hard for me but luckily there was a quilt in the wardrobe so I could use as a topper to give me that extra comfort. As I say these are just small issues and why I still give a 4 star rating. Alissa, sorry if I spelt your name wrong, on reception was brilliant and the other staff was also fantastic and pleasant.

Great accommodations, excellent dinner
Reviewed By Karen COne amazing night! We booked a room online minutes before we arrived. Our room was a contemporary, well appointed suite. Even better was our dinner. Paolo combined delicious, fresh ingredients for the perfect meal. Presentation was beautiful and each course was memorable. We highly recommend dining in this lovely location.

Great food cooked on the spot whatever I wanted. The chef is also fabulous. No British or Americans. If you want to go off the beaten track and be surrounded by real Italy go here. I almost regret writing this as I hope it’s available next time I want to go

Great hotel, great views!
Reviewed By Jessika RWe spent one night here in June 2017 and we had a lovely stay. We had a room booked for 4 people, and they very nicely gave us two rooms instead for the same price. We had lovely drinks on our balcony brought to us, and presented very nicely. The view was absolutely incredible, and the staff were incredible. They did not speak much english but tried very hard. We had dinner at the hotel and it was awesome, we had a huge platter of meats, cheese, and various other local delicacies to start. We then had lovely veal with lemon sauce and all the trimmings. The family that owns the hotel were just so helpful, accommodating, and we really did enjoy our stay. We would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.
