Families Beware
Reviewed By JACAAJWe had 4 rooms booked for two families. Each family has 2 adults and 3 kids. Upon arrival, the host said that we needed to rent a fifth room. He would only allow two people per room. With only 4 adults in our group, that would mean the extra room would be occupied by 2 children! We explained that it was unsafe to let two minors sleep alone. He said that it would be a fire hazard to have 2 children and 1 adult stay in the same room (we have never had a problem doing this before) The rooms are ENORMOUS! More importantly, how could the host be more concerned about a nonexistent fire hazard, and not about renting a room to two underaged minors? I’m pretty sure that’s not even legal. We contacted Booking.com and all they could do was ask the host to cancel as it was a non-refundable reservation. We watched the host purposefully not answer the phone when the booking rep called. We understand that the reservation was non-refundable, but the host wouldn’t let us stay or give us the keys without us renting an additional room. A room that we wouldn’t be able use! With the choice of renting the 5th room (that would remain empty) or canceling and paying for the stay...we opted to pay the 150 euros to rent the 5th room and left it vacant. The host was unreasonable, unprofessional and unmasked (no COVID-19 precautions) It also took 3 hours before he was able to check us in and issue keys. Another issue was the A/C. They advertise air conditioning (the main reason we chose it). The host instructed us that we must turn off the air conditioning with the remote control when leaving the room. Shouldn’t the guest decide the temperature of the room? It was over 32 degrees Celsius outside. Who wants to return to a hot room? We placed the “Do not disturb” sign on the door and instructed the maid not to enter. When we returned that evening, someone had entered and turned off the air conditioning...CREEPY! The rooms had no safe, luckily nothing was taken!

The hotel is ideally located directly opposite the spa colonnade, central fountain.
Very nice hotel, but be prepared for noisy nights.
Reviewed By justbigThis is definitelly the best hotel in Podebrady. The hotel is very clean, perfectly organized and modern. Our rooms were prepared in time, just after arrival we received the plan for all purchased procedures. The staff is very friendly and prepared always for your service. Breakfasts are very good and we very much enjoyed buffet dinners, too. The restaurant chef is definitelly the benefit of the hotel. The hotel is a spa or wellness hotel and all spa procedures are provided inside the hotel. You can use the pool inside, too. Parking is also available. Everything I ordered worked perfectly, apart from welcome drink which I did not receive, but this is a detail I did not care and had no problem with. One very important detail does not work, though. If you want to relax and you need a quiet place for relaxation, then sleeping might be a problem. It is not possible to individually set up a pleasant temperature inside room. I had a premium room at upper floor. The hotel is quite overheated. I asked the reception to dicrease the temperature in the room from 24 to 22 degrees, but it was probably not possible. The air condition system just did not work. So then one has to open the window. But when you open a window you hear all noise from the park. And believe me that I did not sleep well any night. There is always somebody yelling or speaking loudly in the middle of night in front of the hotel. You will hear everything….all happy groups or drunk people. The view on park promenade is nice, but not very practical during nights. And what I missed was also a good bed and definitelly better pillows.

Reviewed By Andrea LA perfect villa with equipment more than 100 years old (some of it). Spacious rooms with a small kitchen and a bathroom, right in the centre. Everything made with love. We had a lovely interior balcony. We really loved this place.

Reviewed By Juraj UPension placed in park with nice walking and cycling possibility. Quiet place to stay and nice clean room with large bed. Rooms are 30 meters from restaurant without reception (you have your key to enter). Good place to stay, if you like less people around and nature around.

Great food very uptogether Hotel
Reviewed By BusboysRML2513We orginally booked for 2 nights but was lucky enough to stay an extra night. Room looked as in the online pictures it was clean and smelling fresh. Michal and his staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. Dined there on the Sat night fantastic food I would recommend contacting them direct to book restaurant as it was full on the first night and I felt we missed out. Will look to stay there again next year.

I was very satisfied with accommodation and services and I can only recommend this guest house. The city center and spa colonnade are a few minutes' walk away and everything is within easy reach.

Reviewed By aleksandrabalinskaCan't rate the actual hotel cause we didn't get a room even though we reserved it 3 days in advance and it was confirmed twice on booking.com and we were also chatting via email with a receptionist. Upon arrival the hotel was fully booked, they couldn't find our reservation and sent us to a pension instead, promised us that it will be even better for the same price. We went there, spent 30min driving around looking for it (Pension Dogmar), and it was way more expensive and didn't look good, so we wasted around an hour, had to look for a new place, lost other offers cause the check-in hours finished and had to drive to another city after a non-stop 13-hour journey..

Reviewed By Miroslav SThis review is a part of my July holiday stay in Podebrady (the Spa Town). My first hotel where I stayed was Hotel Bellevue Tlapak. Everything --- incl. my room, a room location view (got a front - sun set side, but would prefer a sun rise side), all the equipment, rich breakfasts and a-la-carte dinners (3 choices:-) included in my spa package --- was fine. A few photographs attached to the review.... Thank you, I hope I'll get back to there:-)

Reviewed By Ondra HWe spent here nice 3 days with my girlfriend. The hotel is very nice and comfortable. We had a room under the roof nice! Smart Tv is included..you can youse bike and nordig walking. We had a massage near the hotel in kinnaree thailand masssage nice too. You can park your car infront of the hotel just 4€ per day. Breakfast is good too. The hotel is near to centrum. We are going to spend more time in the future! 5 stars!
