Reviewed By annsharp2016We arrived on 7/6 for a week. An amazing hotel, no children perfect, quiet, live music several times during the week. The lunchtime food didn’t disappoint. The rooms are boutique style with everything on hand. The jewel in the crown are the staff(including the cleaner) so helpful and personable nothing was too much trouble. 5 minutes from a great selection of tavernas and local shops too. We will definitely be returning.

However we all felt this was such a fabulous place that we needed to communicate how wonderfully we were treated. The accommodations were first class and the pool area/bar is very relaxing which is kept spotless and enjoys magnificent views over the Sea. George and all his staff cannot do enough to help you and if there is any minor issue it is resolved immediately. The breakfast was sort of continental with a twist and delicious. Last but by no means least it is worth a visit to meet Nikos the crazy barman, who looks after everyone with a smile and is just full of fun. We would recommend this to everyone and we will be returning next year. Thanks for listening ?

Reviewed By RoufnchoudhuryWe went for 10 days and stayed in a spacious 2 bedroom with a massive balcony and views of the beauty sea and mountains. The accommodation was perfect; clean, safe and very spacious. The staff were extremely hospitable and the manager/owner, Anna, was so kind and helpful. The villas are set against the backdrop of wonderful mountains and in a peaceful residential area called Piskopiano. It’s a stones throw away from the picturesque village called Koutouloufari - there you’ll find boutique shops, a diverse range of excellent restaurants and more. The villas have access to 2 pools and 2 bar/restaurants. You really will not be disappointed - we had a magical time with our 3 kids. I have attached pictures of both Piskopiano and Koutouloufari Village.

Amazing stay at the Korifi Suites
Reviewed By welltravelled063We stayed for 10 days at the wonderful Korifi Suites and from arriving at 9pm we were greeted with the very friendly manager Giorgios. We were upgraded to a suite with such an amazing panoramic view with a large balcony with sun loungers, table/chairs and swinging chair…a step away from the pool…heaven! Location is fantastic in the centre of the village of Piskopiano with its authentic bars and restaurants and very friendly people. A few minutes walk takes you to the larger village of Koutoulofari with many choices of restaurants and bars, the 15 walk in the opposite direction to Old Hersonnissos with the old town square surrounded by restaurants (book in advance for a nighttime meal) is worth a visit. Herssonisos is a 20 minute walk down hill straight into the centre. Would highly recommend the Korifi Suites, such a relaxing place to stay, friendly staff, clean apartments, views to die for and a prime location, we will be back next year.

Didn't want to return home. What a wonderful find ?
Reviewed By PeneyralsWe have just returned from the most wonderful 10 days at the Lofos Apartments. We had high expectations from the reviews but our stay exceeded them. It is bliss! Our one bedroom apartment was of such high standard, as is the whole small, pretty complex. The pool with its amazing views over to the sea and the relaxing pool bar area are divine. There is a chilled vibe with relaxing music. The complex was constantly being cleaned and housekeeping better than a 5* hotel. All staff were friendly and happy. Highly recommend the buffet breakfast too. Of note, there are a number of steps but areas are accessible via pathways. 10mim walk to Piskopiano. Old Town Chersonnisos Square is lovely or Koutoloufari, all close by. The lively resort of Hersonnisos is 15mins downhill with a great supermarket at the bottom. We hired a car and would higjly recommend this but not necessary. Taxis are plentiful too. 20mins easy drive from the airport. Thank you for such a wonderful stay Maria, George and the whole Lofos family. We shall return soon.

Stelva Villas is a traditional resort with 48 apartments, 2 swimming pools and a snack bar. It is built in Piskopiano, 1.5 km from the port of Hersonisos on the hillside offering a great view of the port. Very near the city but still far enough to have a quiet and relaxing vacation in a very nice facility and for a very good price.

Through the window smells like cat poo all evening. shower has not been cleaned in a long time you cant see through the glass you cant even fit properly and we far from big. No bath mats in a shower considering shower door is not closing and shower head sprays water everywhere plus on a note we been given says if you put towels on a floor you will get charged 10€ ask for bath mat ?! isn’t a bath matt should be there already when the floor is super dangerous wet. we get one toilet roll and have to think how much we are using not to run out until cleaner will bring more. Why on holidays i need to be thinking asking about toilet roll or bath mats surely it doesn’t take much effort to leave more i know its a budget hotel but i am a regularly staying in hersonissos and this was the worst hotel i been so far.

Charming apartments
Reviewed By DavidFoxJust returned from these charming apartments set quite high above Piskopiano. First off, these apartments are not suitable for those with walking difficulties as the climb from Piskopiano is quite steep. Also, anyone looking for high spec accommodation will also be disappointed as the apartments are quite old (1993). What you will get is a charming apartment with superb views over Hersonissos and the sea beyond. The pool is quiet and there are plenty of beds (for most of our week we were the only people by the pool). Piskopiano has a plethora of excellent restaurants to choose from but our favourite was Gevsi. The owner, Nikos, is very friendly and helpful. Room tips, 1,2,8 and 9.

It is just 150 metres to the many bars and tavernas in the centre of Piskopiano and the centre of Hersonissos is a 20 minutes walk downhill from the apartments. These apartments will appeal to families and couples looking for quiet accommodation in a scenic hillside location above Hersonissos. Get to our pool, take a dive and get you refreashing drink with the beautifull sightseeing. Your children will play in the children's pool and will enjoy their ice cream in the snack bar near the pool. Reviewed By BradfordYorkieWe moved our booking from the Adonis (where we’ve stayed before) to here following an accident that left me on crutches. It is on the border of Koutouloufari and Piskipiano just below the wishing well so closer to tavernas and bars. There are some steps and a small steep slope but where in Crete hasn’t got those. So checkin at the bar by the side of the pool. Manos was very helpful with our bags and checking the air con worked (€50 for 7 days). Most apologetic about the steps - they were not a problem with my crutches. And so to the room. I’m sure no one had stayed in there before. Everything was brand new, the mattress the sheets the towels, crockery and glasses. Huge double bed (not the usual Greek 2 singles pushed together). Good sized room. Small kitchenette, kettle, 2 ring hob, fridge all brand new. Only slight downside was a lack on drawers and a plug by the mirror. By no means a deal breaker and would come again. Previous reviews have mentioned Mike and Maria, we’ve seen no sight of them and I’ve heard someone say they have left. The pool is lovely plenty of sun beds limited parasols but enough to go round. Very peaceful. Nice pool bar with basic snacks and drinks. I’d highly recommend a superior studio here (room 304 was ours).
