Felt fenced in by the windows

Reviewed By Nateraj2014

The hotel was central but no parking which is always a pain. The room is what I would expect from a premiere innbut the windows are the main thing I remember . All windows in hotels have a safety lock so they only open a few inches but these windows had a separate screen attached to the wall so you could get no fresh air at all . The windows screens were attached to the wall the window sill and the the window it made me feel quite trapped . The food was nice but lots off the menu, the staff were very nice and friendly

An OK vegan meal, but could have been tastier and with more choice

Reviewed By Tim R

We ate last night at the restaurant. There was no vegan starter, we had to have something withoit the cheese on it. The french onion soup was lovely, but there should be at least one vegan option as a starter. the main course linguini was well cooked but lacked taste, it wasn't spicy or flavoursome really. Pubbing was OK, but I felt that as a vegan we were barely catered for. PS I did when I booked let the restaurant know that we were vegan.

Lovely Quayside Pub

Reviewed By helenhughes1

One of my favourite pubs in Penzance especially with such welcoming, friendly & helpful staff. The quality of the food is always good & the specials board offers some interesting alternatives to the main menu. Fish & chips is recommended though it’s quite a big portion so you’ll need a big appetite! Although no garden, there are tables outside which is great for people watching and the quayside is literally across the road.

The perfect inn for a one night stay

Reviewed By samanthaeyers

We stayed here for one night. Check in isn't till 5pm. There were five rooms separate from the pub. The room we had was really nice, clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and welcoming. We decided to have a meal in the pub, my husband had prawn and crayfish cocktail and I have garlic prawns. For the main my husband had the local beef burger with local cheese, the chips where really nice as well. I had a beef and ale homemade pie with chips and peas, the beef was really nice. For dessert I had the chocolate brownie and ice cream and my husband had the white chocolate cheesecake, we both enjoyed our desserts. Breakfast was nice too, had a wide range to choose from. This pub/inn is in a good location if you are visiting St Michael's Mount & Marazion town.

Disappointing breakfast

Reviewed By YorkshireStormy

Really enjoyed our stay until breakfast, lovely rooms with fantastic view and super location close to the ferry. At breakfast no staff turned up and we had to serve ourselves and we didn't get the cooked breakfast we were expecting. When we checked out the member of staff just shrugged and wasn't interested at all. We had to pay for another breakfast which just isn't on. Would have booked again but not sure after this. Don't expect this when you paid £200 which is a lot of money for us
