Top 10 hotels in Padstow, United Kingdom

August 15, 2022 Mollie Coke

Walking is a way of life in the picturesque Cornwall town of Padstow. The South West Coast Path—which, at 630 miles, is Britain’s longest footpath—stretches along the coast and, via ferry, across the River Carmel. The former fishing port is today a hub of fine wining and dining. Lose yourself in the Lost Gardens of Heligan, a fairyland of heirloom flowers, or go back to the future at the Eden Project, a horticultural wonderland housed inside dramatic biodomes.

Fantastic location, great staff and atmosphere

We camped at YHA Treyarnon, with friends who stayed in one of the bell tents. Having not stayed at a YHA site before, I wasn't sure what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised. The location is amazing ... overlooking Treyarnon Bay. The set up at the site was great, with a limit on bookings that allows a big play area in the middle of the field and you don't feel on top of other guests at all. The staff at Treyarnon really made the holiday for us, including a waiter called Jake who stepped in to provide musical entertainment when the booked act didn't show. It made my 6 year old's holiday as it was his birthday that day and to have the whole site singing happy birthday to him was just magical. The facilities are clean in the main, with toilets suffering occasionally with number of users. Self catering facilities are excellent and there was never a problem using what I wanted. A great stay with perfect hosts.

We had a very pleasant one night stay. We didn't receive the apartment upgrade I have been reading about on here. However our Room was lovely, plenty big enough and charming. Very close to PW1, Bin Two and Ruby's Bar where we enjoyed drinks later on. Hamish & Tracy were great hosts and made sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend

Well Parc Hotel

The hotel is beautifully situated in almost two acres of grounds overlooking miles of glorious coastline, with Trevose Head to the left and the famous Round Hole of Trevone to the right. The Well Parc, although not crowded by any near neighbours is less than five minutes walk from the beaches and coastal path. Trevone hosts two beautiful beaches - one sandy, with full lifeguard coverage during the summer months which is perfect for surfing, sand castles and lazy sunny picnics. The other beach is aptly named Rocky Beach and is a haven of rockpools teaming with interesting discoveries, it also has a natural swimming pool within the rocks of the beach.

Lovely friendly staff who were accommodating & helpful, especially the person running the bar. It’s a good honest little place & the food was tasty too, esp the curry. Plenty of space indoors & out and lovely coastal views. Easy to reach within Trevone.

5/5. A really wonderful place to stay in padstow. Good location, car parking and amazing service. The hotel is beautifully presented with amazing decor and different styles for each room. The service was amazing with a number of lovely touches - delivery of mid afternoon pudding, bedtime hot chocolate, wonderful breakfast hamper and even a nice honesty bar (with some lovely gins). We will definitely be going back the next time we go to padstow.
