Nice place but not recommended for December
Reviewed By KopisiBrandIt is situated very far away from the main road. We arrived at 7pm, the place was very dark. The counter staff was out for dinner. We seemed to be the people in the place, other than the security guard. Luckily the staff returned in a short while to check in for us. The water pressure was super low. The weather that night happened to be 11 degree celcius. The water was only warm for 1 minutes. We were shivering when we tried to shower. There was no hair dryer, no heater in the room. We requested an extra bed for my teenage boy, and it was a queen size mattress laid on the icy cold floor. Breakfast was a decent set with bacon, omelette and sandwiches. The plus point was the mountain views when we stepped out of the room in the early morning. Otherwise, I felt it was over priced. If only the owner spent more efforts to upgrade the amenities and facilities.

Luxurious and Magnificent View Resort
Reviewed By ChaicharnDWe spent 2 nights in Te Mata Glampling 360*. This resort has 7 types of room. Our tent is very beautiful decorated and 360* Mountain View. The swimming pool is heated pool and lovely view. There is BBQ and kitchen for us to cook our own food. The amenities of the room are excellent. Breakfast and dinner is tastety. The service is excellent.

Beautiful scenery with some drawbacks
Reviewed By Mike_gwiloThe good part about staying at KhaoKhab lodge is the incredible scenery and surroundings. Sitting in a narrow valley between two mountains, it's a great way to experience the cool season in Thailand. The houses are designed for groups of people, as if it's just 2 of you, it's pretty expensive. The houses are brand new, and tastefully done. The disadvantages... it's run by a family, so will not be the same experience as staying in a hotel. there's no food available except for breakfast. The dinning area for breakfast is outdoors, so if it's raining, you'll be getting wet. for a different experience, it's worth a try!

Severely Neglected and Poorly Maintained Diamond Hill
Reviewed By JoyM0025Phuphet Resort is Diamond Hill Resort. True Neglect. Hasn’t not been renovated in decades, dirty and poorly maintained. See photos of condition of the room. For 2000฿ per night the room was unacceptable. In all my years of travel around the world, this was the most poorly maintained ‘resort’ I have ever encountered. Breakfast was 600฿ for our family . We were told “no choice” and were served (delivered to room) microwave hotdogs, microwaved French fries, processed microwaved eggs and a pile of cold white bread (like prison food), and pork soup. No water, no coffee/tea or juice. We don’t eat pork so we returned the soup and staff made chicken rice soup proving they had a kitchen and were capable of cooking but chose to serve cheap processed microwave food. Covid is not an excuse for disgusting food. Room: There was body wash and shampoo but no soap for hand washing, no face cloths or hand towels. One bath towel was provided but staff brought us extra bath towels after we requested. Room was dirty. Asked housekeeping to clean but still dirty. Photos were taken AFTER housekeeping came and ‘cleaned’. Dust was set for months with attention to cleaning. After housekeeper came they left the door unlocked. Photos of room: Shower head at chest level so you can’t wash your hair unless someone holds the shower head, no hooks for towels doors to dry towels, aircon filled with dust, big tile chunks missing on the bathroom wall, broken locks so we used a spoon to create lock in hinge, green moldy caulking in shower, window-sills filled with insects, drawers filled with dirt that I had to personally clean, no electrical outlet nearby so coffee pot had to be plugged in behind the sofa on the floor. Design of shower head and electrical outlet was ridiculous. On a positive note we arrived early in the rain and the staff allowed us to check in early. Overall, everything was a true disappointment and when these issues were brought up to the staff nothing was done. No solution because this is the way the resort is run and neglect is accepted. I would not recommend Diamond Hill Resort.
