Great hotel!

Wonderful Hotel! Wonderful location! We loved our stay here. The rooms were large, and overlooked the water. There is a walking area right outside hotel with lots of restaurants. The only thing we didn't love was the breakfast. We wish there was more variety. We would stay here again.

Great Location

Reviewed By Lindaben

Naples is not for everyone but it has its charms and this is one of them. Chose it because it was a short walk to the archaeology museum. Lots of cafes and lots of pizza near by. The room was huge, comfy bed, nice shower and bathroom. Did not care for how they decorated the room and didn't like the big numbers on the doors. Great breakfast and a really nice courtyard. Also there is a pharmacy a few feet away where we were able to get our covid test before heading back to USA.

Good hotel in good location

Reviewed By nyc3kids123

The room was clean and comfortable, if somewhat spartan. The location is convenient; close enough to the centro storico and the port to take a boat to Capri/Ischia, etc. It is a good value for a four star city hotel. I would stay here again. They arranged an airport pickup at a very reasonable price - I had been quoted a higher price by a different service. The receptionists were helpful.

When we first pulled up we were a little nervous (where our taxi dropped us off it looked like a run down area) but after walking through the doors we felt so much better! The staff is so helpful and kind. We had many questions throughout our trip and they always had a answer and a smile. The room was clean and spacious. We never heard outside noise or other rooms. You can have a taxi called and they arrive in minutes. It’s about 25€ from the airport.

Decumani Hotel de Charme

We are glad to give you the warmest welcome as our guests into Palazzo Sisto Riario Sforza. Here, in the heart of Naples old town within inches of Santa Chiara Church with its Cloister, the Veiled Christ and Via San Gregorio Armeno was born, in 2008, our Hotel. The Decumani Hotel de Charme was originally built during the 17th century and belonged to Sisto Riario Sforza, the last Archbishop of Naples in the Bourbon Kingdom of the Two Sicilies of which Naples was the capital. In 2008 we embarked on a major refurbishment programme for the second floor, where the Hotel is placed. The hotel has now been fully restored and equipping with all the modern conveniences our guests expect. A wide lounge, decorated with golden stuccoes and mirrors, testifies the illustrious past of this residence. All of our 22 bedrooms are fully air-conditioned and feature the following: soundproof windows, flat screen Television with international channels, safe, minibar, direct dial telephone and hairdryer. The Decumani Hotel de Charme is located in the Decumani, in the heart of the old town originally a Greek "polis" and then a Roman "urbs", an area wich represents with its squares, streets and alleys, a unique historical, cultural and artistic heritage, as it is testified by the acknowledgment of Unesco, which in 1995 declared the historic centre of Naples " the biggest open-air museum in the world".

Cosy hotel with a hospitable and friendly staff right in Centro Historico

Reviewed By TaniaMoFur

We cannot tell you how helpful the front desk was, especially Frederika. The responsiveness to the messages, WhatsApp and everything from arranging tours, transport, and suggestions on what we should do. If you have never been to Naples the appearance of all the graffiti in the old town can make it seem to run down, but not to worry the inside the hotel was comfortable, clean, and had a gorgeous dining room and ample breakfast. But the LOCATION wow, we only had one night in Naples and definitely picked the right spot. Right around the corner from all this amazing food, nightlife, and historic sites. Our city tour got canceled and we didn't even need it since Decumani was a stone's throw from tons of sites. The staff went above and beyond helping us with our drivers, even AFTER we checked out from the hotel they helped with translation and coordination. I definitely felt safe at home and well-taken care of. A note this is not a luxury high end hotel, but the service definitely felt like it

Fantastic stay, strongly recommended

Reviewed By MadhavB

My wife and I just returned from an amazing trip in Napoli, Capri and the Costiera Amalfitana last week. While these places are themselves great destinations that are worth travelling to and exploring, our trip was made all the more enjoyable thanks to the fact that we made the Week-end a Napoli Boutique Hotel our base during our week-long stay (our son and daughter-in-law, who were travelling with us, also stayed there). The hotel, which is located in the heart of the lovely neighbourhood of Vomero, up on a hill, is close to lively streets, great eating places, and the Castel Sant Elmo, which commands breathtaking 360-degree views of the city and its surroundings, including the Bay of Naples, Vesuvio, and Capri. Besides – and this is crucial for visitors who will be doing lots of commuting – the hotel is situated very close to all three funicular lines from Vomero down to the city below (the Funicolare Chiaia, the Funicolare Centrale, and the Funicolare Montesanto) and two metro stations (Vanvitelli and Quattro Giornate). We had the Pompeii suite at the hotel – it is a lovely apartment on the ground floor, which has a sitting room, bedroom, kitchenette, bathroom, and a hot tub (which was a blessing after long days of waking about). But what made our stay really enjoyable was Paolo’s and Patrizia’s warm and gracious hospitality. They made the time to chat with us every morning at breakfast (served in a lovely setting on the second floor), regaling us with stories of their life and passions, and giving us great advice on places to visit, things to do, cafés and ristorantes; and travel and commuting recommendations. They also booked airport pick-up and drop off, and taxis for our trips, which was most helpful. The breakfasts, served by JR, a very friendly young gentleman, were perfect for starting the day (the orange and chocolate-orange tarts, which Paolo makes himself, are not to be missed; and our son, who is a coffee aficionado, thought that the espresso was superb). In short, it was like we were at home, as they say on their website. We were sorry to leave, and are determined to be back!
