Reviewed By allsusanWe had business in San Benedetto but decided to stay up the hill for a better price and view. Lovely owner was very nice when we just walked in without reservation showed us a room which was very satisfactory. Hugh terrace off the room with beautiful view of the valley. Right across the street from the cathedral so we did here the church bells all night but was ok. Breakfast was average with cold choices. Owner made a very nice cappuccino.

Perfect place to escape and relax
Reviewed By BlackdownalpacaWe stayed here for 6 nights at the start of our Adriatic adventure; a warm welcome, comfortable room, and stunning views from our private garden - only surpassed by the wider view from the enormous pool area. It was so lovely to be able to see the sea in the distance, with the rolling hillsides in between, peppered with small hilltop villages. The buildings have been sympathetically restored to create a calm and classy ambience, situated around a central courtyard where tables are laid on fine evenings for dinner. Dinner in the on-site restaurant was excellent, with wine from the property's own vineyards, and breakfast was also very good. The staff couldn't have been more friendly or helpful, service in the restaurant and bar was attentive, and the rooms were spotlessly clean and well prepared. We spent several days driving in the Marche and also into the mountains, enjoying the varied scenery and spectacular views. We were reluctant to leave this lovely place, and plan to return on our next trip to the area.

Il Wi-Fi gratuito, gli ampi spazi comuni, l’ottima e abbondante colazione a base dei dolci fatti in casa dalla signora Lucia, affabile responsabile della dimora, la facilità di parcheggio, la vicinanza a San Benedetto del Tronto e ad altri incantevoli borghi medievali come Offida ed Acquaviva Picena, solo per citarne alcuni, rendono il soggiorno a Palazzo Mestichelli un’esperienza indimenticabile.

The B&B is located in a beautifully renovated historical building, with amazing views of the nearby countryside. The rooms are decorated with very good taste and the beds and sheets are extremely comfortable. Last but certainly not least, the structure is extremely clean and tidy. Lucia, the owner of the B&B, welcomed us very warmly and was extremely nice and friendly during our whole stay. She prepared homemade cakes for breakfast everyday, which we almost always ate outside on the beautiful terrace. We will definitely stay with Lucia again should we come back to this region!

The residence is beautifully kept; the room we stayed in was very comfortable and clean; and the views of the quaint little town are just breathtaking! On top of that, Enzo and his staff are the most wonderful people you'll meet: they go above and beyond to make sure that your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. I highly recommend il Borgo da Mare. Reviewed By Steef1968We've booked a B&B room here some years ago because we wanted to explore the area of southern Le Marche. Places like Ascoli Piceno, Offida, Ripratansone and Grottamare are well in driving distance. The border of Abruzzo isn't far either and it's not a far drive to Castellucio in Umbria where you'll the the Piano Grande famous for its lentils. Especially in summer this is a must see place. Fields full of beautiful colorful flowers. The first time we've visited this area was in September and there were no flowers then. Even then the place was worth a visit but we decided to go back in summer 2 years later especially to see the flowers. It was well worth it. You can also visit Norcia nearby the Piano Grande in Umbria. The owners of this B&B (who live in the house as well) aren't Italian but Dutch however let this not scare you off because they are lovely and very hospital people. They will do anything for you to make your stay a pleasant one. One night we went out for dinner at the Osteria in the local town of Monteprandone. Outside it started to rain which we hadn't noticed because we had been sitting inside. Suddenly the owner of the B&B stood next to us to let us know that he came to pick us up so that we didn't had to walk back through the rain. He left and went to the bar next door and waited there for us until we'd finished our dinner. I have never experienced something like that before. The room is spacious and has a very good shower. The breakfast is continental and offers plenty of choice. If you require something special you just have to ask and they will get it for you the next day if they don't already have it in store. There is a swimming pool with sunbeds around it. The view from the terras is breathtakingly beautiful. One negative point about the room is the lack of an airconditioning. There is also no TV in the room but I personally did not mind. A beach can be found at San Benedetto del Tronto which is about a 10 minutes drive. Dinner posibilities can be found either in the town of Monteprandone (I recommend the local Osteria) or in San Benedetto del Tronto where you can find plenty of choice especially at the boulevard at the beach side. We have stayed here 3 times now and this is the first time we have ever been back to the same accommodation more than once, which is a big thing for us I can assure you. That is why I would like to recommend this place to anyone because this place is such a gem.

Beautiful surroundings...but management and quarters to be improved

Awesome view of the campagna and sea from hammocks in the garden. we were lucky to find decent, breezy weather as we had no a/c in our room - we knew before booking but thought it wouldn't be a big deal - just definitely not a plus in hotter periods like july and august. Breakfast was ok, but only sweet (and no coffee except for when owner's parents showed up...). No wifi. Not sure we would go back unless property remodelled.

Reviewed By luigib891Anche se il pregio principale risiede nell’ubicazione, vicinissima al mare e alle più importanti vie di comunicazione, nondimeno quello che a nostro avviso caratterizza maggiormente questo b&b è la situazione al contorno. Vigne ordinatissime adagiate su dolci colline e ameni paesini (Monteprandone e Acquaviva Picena) fanno da sfondo a questa bella struttura, un casale recentemente ristrutturato. La ciliegina è rappresentata dalle due terrazze affacciate sulla campagna circostante. Ottima la colazione, con torte e biscotti fatti in casa. Molto cordiali i proprietari, disponibili per informazioni e suggerimenti. Torneremo senz’altro.

Il proprietario Peppe ci ha accolto con gentilezza e disponibilità. Il b&b è posto vicino all'ingresso dell' autostrada, ha un comodo parcheggio, camere pulite e spaziose dotate di climatizzazione. Consigliato!
