The owners of this beautiful inn are the family Robles Sahagun who love this home almost as much as Chayito, the mother of the family, loves receiving her guests with a warmth of hospitality that is reflected in every corner. Breakfast is included in the sunny patio or in your room.

The staff was very professional, pleasant, helpful and always had a smile. Our cabin was comfortably amazing and the turn down service was a nice surprise. We enjoyed the peace and serenity of the environment as there are beautiful flowers and picturesque landscaping throughout the resort. We enjoyed horseback riding, kayaking, paddle boats and swimming in the pool. Did I forget to mention the food? ? The menus had a good variety and we were quite pleased with every dish we ordered. What a stress free way to spend some much needed time away. Thank you Sierra Lago! We will be back!

Reviewed By julesfredrickWe stayed at this lovely little inn while touring the area. The staff couldn't have been more welcoming. They made sure to meet our needs, and recommended a guide for us for a tour the following day. The family had lived in California, but left the rat race to run this place. Their English was perfect, and we really enjoyed chatting with the daughter and her Father.

Reviewed By barryhereWe chose this place because of the location and we were not disappointed at all. Very quiet in comparison to any other place so far. The staff at check in were friendly and helpful, the rooms are very nice, traditional and well kept. The grounds and surrounding areas are maintained and immaculate with a great atmosphere to take a stroll. Best of all, the great dogs were kept in at night and not a rooster to be heard. This is value plus.

Reviewed By Marvin8AA una cuadra del jardín principal y justo donde los autobuses llegan al pueblo. Cerca de las tiendas para comprar todo lo que necesites. Lo único es que no cuenta con estacionamiento propio pero por el precio (menos de $400), nos alojamos en lo que parecía una casa antigua con un jardín lleno de plantas en medio. La habitación bastante bien, parecía recién remodelada, agua caliente y con Roku Tv.

Nice Hotel, Decent Price...But...

This means, for instance, when someone enters your hotel after a 6-hour-long bus ride and is carrying four things including a suitcase, you help that person carry (at least) SOME of the things to his room. This means, for instance, that when a guest wants to read a book in the courtyard, you do not Facetime your friends at the front desk for (literally) hours on end, thus disturbing that (PAYING) guest's concentration and equilibrium. Talk about solipsistic, narcissistic behavior, Jeezuz folkz! Get a clue! Room was nice. 3rd best mattress ever!

Reviewed By MaisentoutcasI had a great time here with my family. The staff were friendly and the rooms were unique. It looks like all their wooden framing and furniture was custom made and painted. This place looks like it used to be a mansion in its heyday. Please be mindful that It is old and hasn't had too many people go through it, so please don't expect everything to be super updated. The rooms (we got two) are super inexpensive per night. Our rooms didn't have AC but they did have fans and medium sized box tvs with cable. We also were given the password to their wifi and it worked great. The beds were large (my guess is that they were king-sized) and they had mini kitchenettes but I honestly didn't try to use the ovens or mini fridge in my room, but the other room's fridge worked. The backside park/grounds were beautiful with geese, chickens, and a beautiful peacock that would cross the road a couple of times every day. We enjoyed our stay and the staff was super attentive. They do close their front doors at night (businesses nearby also close at sundown) but if you let the groundskeeper know, he will wait for you before closing up. I knew that we would be arriving to La Puerta De Enmedio between 10pm and midnight, so we called in advance to confirm our reservation and let them know we were arriving late and they waited for us.
