Bad experience in Kiss Of Sea Mandarmani

I am posting the exact review I wrote yesterday. 1. Room was cleaned @ 2pm 2. It's already 7pm. Still using yesterday's towel. No fresh towel is provided till now. 3. Yesterday we made tea with the tea utility provided by the hotel. They took the cups back and till now didn't get new tea utility. 4. Once you have your meals in the room, and keep the plates out, it will be cleaned after 4/5 hours. It feels very unhygienic. 5. We ordered tea at pool side this evening. It took almost 1 hour to serve the tea, after giving several reminders. And moreover, the staff who brought the tea, was searching for guests from wrong room number. Though we were telling him, that tea was ours, still he didn't agreed to serve us. We are paying 4000/-+GST per day. Still getting this poor service. This is a new property. Till now it is clean. But with this house keeping, I don't know how many days it will remain the same. Pathetic experience. The only USP of the hotel is it's position. I will not recommend anyone to stay here. And the strange thing is, owner of the hotel is present in the hotel right now.

I had booked through GoIbibo, they did not provide any resolution, just harrassed us time and again. The reception manager was rude and mocked us. The door lock was broken, the washroom window was also broken, birds flew in and crapped all over the place. I had to check out one day early. GoIbibo denied refund even after promising for that day. The hotel and GoIbibo made a fool out of us.

Poorly managed great property
Reviewed By crak_inProperty is massive. Just by the beach... giving a feel of private beach access. Plenty of trees. Places for all kinds of events. Variety of rooms; but that could be a deterrent too since it brings all types of crowd. Parking is not a problem. A lot of parks. Swimming pool is absolutely awesome. They charge 300 for cleaning cars. That is almost half month's salary for car cleaners even in Mumbai. Entry road is decent. A bit far from main Mandarmani beach. No restaurants near this resort but am sure that will change. The area is still getting a lot of concrete. Food is alright. Complimentary breakfast is better than similar hotels. Room service is good. Staffs are willing to help... but every time they have "give me some tips" smile. When we were there, they totally failed to manage the crowd. Probably an office group or something. were at the pool till early morning having drinks and sheesha. I would not be surprised if they threw up or soiled the pool water. No restrictions on swimming dresses. Taking shower before pool was a farce. They dipped in pajama, three quarters, night shorts, salwar, saree. Even the breakfast time was kinda horrid. Luchi or omelets vanishes in milliseconds. Some were even putting the food items back to the counter from plates. Oh yes... they allow pets. We met some great dogs there. Overall... poorly managed great property.

Reviewed By Amitra78Had gone with my family during May'22, loved the rooms and the pool. Second Floor Premium Rooms are sea facing. The food was also good, but buffet lunch & dinner can have more menu. The service was also upto the mark. The staffs were polite. The ambience at night time was also great. Pool side "Firangi Paani" is of great idea. It's just 1 minute walk to the beach.

Average Hotel with High Price Tag
Reviewed By souvik_5We were a large family (5 adults and 2 kids) who stayed in 3 of their Platinum Rooms for 2 nights. We were given rooms on the 2nd floor (1st floor by Indian/British term). The rooms had seen their better days. The bathrooms were almost falling apart. All the water faucets and showers had extremely high water pressure, which splashed water all over the bathroom. The bed was comfy. The sliding door to the balcony had broken locks. There were ants digging up piles of cement from the corner of the room. The view of the sea from the balcony was blocked by the placement of huge coconut trees. Very poor planning by the architect/gardner. Now I am coming to the main attraction, the sea beach. You will get a good view of the sea and the beach from the hotel ground. However, it is not easily possible to go into the beach straight from the hotel. You either need to navigate through dangerous boulders or take a 2-minute walk from the front of the hotel. The buffet breakfast was a mess to put it the politest way. There was never enough table space for everyone to keep their plates. There were just too many sofas to sit and then we had to hold the plate in hand, which were not possible for the kids. The spread of food was not good and there were something running out all the time – be it puri or curry or cut fruits or spoons or plates. The swimming pool was good but the kids pool had a dangerously place nail sticking out of the side wall, which pricked my wife, who was with the kids. When we pointed it out to the pool staff, they first denied its existence. But upon our insistence, checked and felt it. Then they gave their excuse on the “need to remove the light” for it to be there. The pool staff were good a preventing most people in getting into the pool without proper swimming attire. But we also saw at least 2 women going into the pool with salwar-kameez! The staff of the hotel were good and we always got room service promptly and even the food for in-room dining were served at promised times. Overall, we did not find justification behind the price that we paid the hotel.

Stay in Hirak Jayanti Resort in Madarmoni
Reviewed By MihirC18This resort is among the budget resorts in Mandarmoni. Location is good near the central point. Rooms are not so big but neat and clean. Resort staff was cordial and helpful. Bathroom was reasonably clean, but without provisions of hot water. Room AC was good. Resort doesn’t have power back up. Food was good. They have two huts on the seaside which are very nice. Most of the people preferred to stay there and relax.

Reviewed By sohamd148The hotel is situated on the sea beach and is very pleasant. The rooms are good with windows that gives a great view of sea. Staff's are good n polite. The road to the entrance of the hotel is very narrow, otherwise the place is very calm n is recommended for both family n friends.
