Nice hotel with a great view
Reviewed By Purabi DLachung is a beautiful, quiet place in North Sikkim. We stayed there for a night. The hotel is nice with decent amenities and pretty rooms. Our room had a stunning view of mountains with a stream which looked like as pretty as a picture. That night we were the only guest in the hotel and we got good service. Food was good though options were limited which is quite natural due to remoteness of the place. Overall we had a pleasant stay.

Reviewed By Amit_NabarVisited Lachung and found Yarlam Resort as one of the best places to stay ... The location is close to tourist spots. The staff though little reserved... Is generally cooperative( can be little flexible when it comes to use of library and other facilities) . Special mention of Mr Jeevan Thapa, the restaurant manager who ensured warm food was available after routine hours ( as u are late by the time u come back from zero point) and took extra bit of effort to arrange for kid friendly menu. The DVD on hire ensured a relaxing hours of entertainment after a gruelling trip to zero point. The rooms were warm and cosy and the place has a positive vibe in general.

This is the first hotel to provide central heating as the temperature in Lachung goes down to below freezing. The rooms are large & have the most modern amenities.

Very clean and comfortable rooms with a mesmerising view of Katao mountains especially in the morning. Tasty food. Great hospitality by all the staff. When our vehicle developed some problem , Mr. Bhatiya , M.D of the hotel helped us to get another vehicle to go to Zero point and back to Gangtok. But for him we wouldn’t have been able to celebrate our 35 th anniversary so memorably.

WELCOME TO Kee-Rong Cottages, LACHUNG. In Lachung, the mountains around appear stunningly close and the brisk fresh air embraces you in a refreshingly heady embrace. We are situated on acres of beautifully landscaped property tucked away in the centre of mountains. & hills. waken to the sun rising over the surrounding hills & mountains.
Magnificient views but need some beefing up of staff
Reviewed By Madhurraowe stayed only for a night at this place. The views from the room are just superb. It is in a remote place away from most of the hustle/bustle. Given that it is just managed by few people do not expect prompt service, however they try to do everything to make your visit comfortable. A slight negative was that during our stay (post 11pm) there was no supply of electricity (which led to most of our devices not charged). While we do not know for sure whether this was Keerong cottage specific issue or part of the Lachung Town issue, so probably can give benefit of doubt to Keerong. Couldn't get this issue clarified as left at 5am the next day. Overall a good place but can be improved.

Reviewed By akjeg23Excellent food, nice and cozy rooms, kind and helpful staff. More or less like homestay. We stayed in a basic room not with great view. Since we were four and one extra bed was part of our package,hotel was kind enough to provide us with 2 extra beds. Heater available on request for 400inr per night. Dinner was excellent and they served nice and hot soup, rotis, rice dhal, sabzis along with sheera. Hot water for drinking is always available in big flasks. Hotel staff at the reception speaks good English. They welcomed us with hot tea. People are so kind here in this village. Nothing much to hangout in and around the hotel but basic things like tea & snacks and winter wear for rental are available. Such a comfortable stay. If you are planning to visit yumthang valley and zero point, I would definitely recommend this home style hotel. Book and enjoy!
