Reviewed By Bollocky26Booked 16 nights so a bit of a risk but happy with hotel. Staying on beach side with sea outlook. Nice pools. Nice gym and big room where you can box which is fun. Free kayaks if that’s your thing. Breakfast is really good, nice breads,muesli, all the usual stuff. Some cooked meals excellent some so so. TV channels poor for English speakers but good reason not to turn it on. Beach is best in Koh Chang. Nice to be back at Koh Chang and happy to stay at this hotel. A tip. If arriving at a time when Thais are eg holidays arrive before the big crowds or you’ll be stuck in long lines of cars. Most times it is fine.

Reviewed By Thanavich VThe Cabana Ocean View is spacious. The cottage is located close to the beach and swimming pool. The room is clean and well organised. The bathroom is big with bathtub. There is an outdoor shower, but no hot water. Breakfast offers wide variety of items at the beach front restaurant. The front desk staffs are friendly and very helpful. There are many local restaurants, 7 -11, and drug stores around the hotel.

Reviewed By alyricmerriottOverall very disappointed with the resort. Beautiful location and some great staff but facilities not looked after very well. Check in was slow, meaning we got to our room at 4:40pm after trying to check in at 2pm. Swimming pool area was great and the pool boys were very helpful but no service around the pool for food and drinks. No phone line in the room, so had to walk to reception across the road if we needed anything. No iron in the resort at all, not ideal for weddings. Breakfast was average at best and most the food was empty when we arrived each day, so we ate elsewhere. No working card machine in reception to pay bills at check out. The beach was never cleaned in front of the resort like other places on the beach. Overall a very disappointing experience. Great hotel but poorly run.

Reviewed By joergh277We come again since the resort was build. This time we have every room type except standard. Poolbar was closed because of covid. Roomservice is also not available. No problem ?. Opening hours of the minishop are restricted too. Food was as every time. Standard to a 3???. The difference now is, it feels almost empty. Tourism is down. Reception, room maid and everything else was excellent ?.

Staff during check in on 22 Feb polite and actively to check in for the guest. At the restaurant side beach during dinner, just feel like not enough staff to service for the guest. Morning BKF on 23 Feb, need more good reaction from the chef who take the egg order.

Reviewed By Calton8The highest mark goes for the location and view. You dont have a beach access here, but that it okay - Lonely beach area will do. Also close to the night clubs. Villas are simple and clean, pool is not that large and restaurant is good. Over all it is worth the money paid

Bit disappointing per past visits
Reviewed By fender202Been to this resort three times. The location, beach right out the front, pools, rooms all immaculately clean. We visited late September and right in the middle of Thailand's Covid pandemic so very few visitors and I feel for them. But the breakfast which is normally full buffet and included in the room rate has been reduced to a choice of 4 things...Fried rice, Frankfurts and eggs, Franks and scrambled eggs and Franks and omelet. A couple of pieces of toast and jam. The photos show ham, eggs and franks but the ham MIA with no explanation. There is not even any tea or fresh milk. Instant coffee, powdered milk and hot water. Now I understand it may not be practical to have a buffet with a handful of visitors...but would it kill you to put out a plate of fruit, maybe a choice of a couple of cereals and fresh milk? at the least. These things aren't expensive. Maybe not a big deal to some but it kind of left a little bit of a sour taste in our mouth. Other small thing was the first Ferry leaves at 6.45am, and I am sure they know this. Why then did we have to go searching for someone in reception (opens 8.00am??) to get our 500 baht key deposit back? I feel sorry for these people in this crisis, but come on guys, somethings don't cost a lot but sometimes mean a lot. Maybe the manager might crack a smile and acknowledge her customers sometimes too when sitting in the dining area.

Reviewed By joergt2016This resort have seen better times! A regular maintenance is clearly missing! Especially the path way to various areas is in very bad condition and partially destroyed which requires a careful walking! There are no elevators available! Specific rooms at the resort and the second pool are reachable by stairs only! The check in manager is very unfriendly and love doing things her specific way!
