Mosquitoes and noisy!
Reviewed By Anonymous AThis is a simple basic hotel with generally clean beds and room with simple free breakfast. It does not have a safe, wardrobe or basic amenities like shampoo, conditioner and bath soap. The one hand soap is used for all! Housekeeping is provided daily with 2 free bottles of water only if you request it. The problem with the hotel is that it is located on the corner of a busy road. The windows are not soundproof so you can basically hear every vehicle passing by at night. The only relatively quiet time is between 3-4am! Also there are many mosquitos in the room. You're best to buy a mosquito repellant and put it on day and night. Unfortunately you will be bitten anyway. Overall, it is probably one of the better hotels in Jitra. It is simple clean and cheap. The hotel cannot control the traffic noise but would be best if they look into getting rid of the mosquitoes!

Reviewed By Amin Afirst of all, i am writing this review to let others know what to expect. i booked this hotel for 4 nights on booking.com as i have done so many times in the past for other hotels. i thought that was it and i didn't have to worry about it. but i was wrong. two days after i booked it, i got a whatsapp message from the hotel. i did not give them permission to contact me via whatsap and i was very annoyed that they contacted through whatsapp. further, the message was in the malay language even though i booked the hotel in english, and on the hotel's website, they advertise that they speak the languages of the guests. i sent a message back informing that i don't speak malay. they then sent two messages in horrible english so that i still did not understand. when i told them that i did not understand, they did not send anymore messages. when i translated the message on google translate, i found out that they requested me to go to a maybank atm and deposit rm80. then there was this long list of instructions to send my travel and identification info via email along with the bank slip. i guess i was supposed to scan the bank slip. fortunately, i was able to cancel the reservation without being charged. i have never experienced anything so ridiculous before

No a good place to stay
Reviewed By wongwf620I slept here at bdb hotel, actually staying here with my 5 family member at a second floor room with a worst night, the furniture at here is old and broke, the soundproof at here is worst, we can here someone singing karaoke at night.
