Outstanding location!

The location is definitely outstanding and the personnel made our stay so pleasant. Even though the rooms could make use of some updates (at least for people that cannot go ahead without forgetting the recent exponential technological progress), we got along and understood that the hotel has its own specific thematic that provides the atmosphere we all need when we go out of the big cities. All in all, it was worth choosing this location and we will be happy to come back.

We wanted to find beautiful place with amazing views and we ended up in Furore in this amazing place. In May we spent some beautiful days in Le Marelle, our room was very clean with a huge terrace with open views all around. Room was equipped with all facilities and good wi-fi connection. Place is clean and beautiful. When we arrived we had no plans, Antonio and Saverio helped us to get all information, they were always ready to make feel us like at home. Antonio even drove us in the beginning of Sentiero Degli Dei(3 hour tracking to arrive in Positano by walking). Breakfast was very tasty, homemade croissant and delicious omlet, with capucino, fruit and many other things. Wife cooks good and is oriented on details, all the family is wonderful, they made our vacation amazing. Very good people and amazing host, I travel so much and I have never met so good hosts. I have feeling that I made new friends in Furore. There is more to say about this wonderful experience but words not enough. We enjoyed so much and we will return. Grazie mille for all attention, hospitality and useful advices. Andrea e Salomé da Nizza

La Casa del Melograno

The "La Casa del Melograno" is a very beautiful "Bed & Breakfast" suspended on the sea of Furore, splendid place for five kilometers from Amalfi, along the tornantis of one of the most beautiful roads of the world. When you enter in "La Casa del Melograno" it fully dips in the forms, in the colors and in the perfumes typical of "Divine Coastline" but true magic is the embrace of the sea that, incomparably blue, it winds the splendid terraces of the B&B that it turns you into an unique window on the immense one. Great peaceful bed & breakfast!

This bed and breakfast in Furore was wonderful and Umberto was an excellent host. His restaurant suggestion was delicious and he arranged transportation to the restaurant. We were provided personal transportation to Amalfi at a small cost and he reserved a private boat to Capri for us. He went out of his way to provide these as options for our honeymoon stay. The room offered plenty of natural light, A/C, and a wonderful view. The breakfast was light consisting of bread, jams, and coffee. When many restaurants provide heavier meals throughout the day, this light breakfast is a perfect start. Very good location to enjoy this unique part of Italy.

San Giacomo Relais

excellent menu in a lovely quit site with nice view

Reviewed By KURTTAMARABRITTYENTE

we booked a table outside on the terras. we had a very nice view on the garden below and further down on the sea. it was very quit, this relais has only few rooms and therefore the restaurant is absolutely not crowdy. the place is very clean. although we didn't stay at the relais itself (we rent a house nearby) it was no problem to book a table at their restaurant. they even did their utmost best to satisfy our preference. they do not work with a menu card, they simply come to your table and give you their suggestions. in mutual agreement (you can give counter suggestions) we set up our personalized menu. in case something not known, no worries, they make you a small appetizer to make you taste it and judge yourself if you want more or not. we did this very same with their "melanzane parmigiana". we (4) got an appetizer to divide and taste : it was delicious !! after diner the lady suggested a dessert. after such a nice diner we didn't have much space left - but even that was not a problem - they simply offered 1 dessert with 4 forks - so we all could taste. I think it's wonderful they don't make a fuss of this. in other tourist places they easily pressurize you to take all 1 dessert each. all the above at a very democratic price. and to make the evening complete, we were offered a limoncello from the house : never tasted one as good and as strong ! while we were waiting for our food, the lady showed us around in their garden and even inside the restaurant, with a little bit of family history. I can tell you we were never annoyed during this evening. for all this hospitality we granted them a second visit during the next week of our stay. all the best to the owners, great job ! family Vandevoorde Belgium

We accidentally stumbled upon this Bed & Breakfast / Restaurant after an Airbnb fail that left us without a place to stay. And we are so happy that we did. Nicola took care of us. Giving us a great room with a gorgeous balcony and the best dinner we have had yet. The rooms have everything you could need and the views from the rooftop terrace are amazing. In the restaurant the staff are very attentive and work very hard to get you anything that you need. (Thank you Antonio!). The next morning we were late getting up and missed the breakfast time but were pleasantly surprised that Nicola saved us breakfast and the view from the table Oh My God. There are no words. It is magnificent. I can’t say enough about this place. I will be back!

Overall okay but disappointed expectations

Reviewed By B492QEmartab

We spent 2 nights in Bacco as part of our honeymoon. Before we arrived we read a lot of raving reviews of the hotel and the restaurant and I must say that our stay did not meet what we expected. The rooms are lovely and the views over the cliffs are phenomenal, however, they staff were not particularly helpful. The hotel restaurant was closed the day we arrived and when we asked the reception to recommend a place to eat in the neighbourhood they just shrugged their shoulders and left us with it don’t know’. Breakfast was very disappointing and run in a disorganised manner, we had to wait 20 minutes for a coffee. Dinner at the restaurant was good but overpriced for what it was. If you stay at the hotel it’s worth eating there but I wouldn’t travel for it.

I want to move here.....

Reviewed By 244viviens

This place is the perfect getaway! A guesthouse/ farmhouse in a superbly scenic location, run by a wonderful family, in a very relaxing atmosphere. It is the perfect spot if you want to visit the busy Amalfi coast, but then need a quiet "homey" place to return to. The rooms are all very clean, and have a lovely decoration. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. On the main terrace, overlooking the sea and the mountains, is where your meals are served (in case it is too cold, you can move inside). Breakfasts are heavenly and very abundant, full of homemade cookies and biscuits, but they also cater to you in case you prefer something salty! Dinners are huge, full of local produce, freshly prepared. My favorites are all their home made pastas and Michela's incredible desserts... Since the property is big, you can always find a quiet corner to relax, near the little chapel or on the upper terrace, where you can find sunbeds and a hot tub. (I mean there is nothing more relaxing than sitting in that hot tub in the early evening, watching the sun set over the Mediterranean sea and listening to the birds singing). By car you can be in Amalfi in about 20-30 minutes (or you can take the local bus). If you enjoy hiking, you can start right from the property - as it is basically connected to the path of the gods. Be aware that there are a lot of stairs involved (entering the property and also on the property) - which shouldn't be a surprise since it is located right on the mountainside.
