Management is vey poor and after promising a part refund verbally (manager on departure) & Owner in writing, he simply didn't do it and apparently didn't care! Note - all the good reviews are pre 2020 after this they go downhill. Beware!!!!! I booked a special treat including spa bath, slippers, robes the works weeks in advance, only to be told on arrival that the spa bath and the door lock wasn't working & no robes or slippers. Long story, but the management promised a part refund. I paid 130Euros and requested a 50 Euro refund, it never materialised! All that glitters is not always gold. As per other recent reviews go elsewhere. The Owner does not deserve your custom - not a holiday experience at all. NOT AS ADVERTISED AS NOT MUCH WORKS.

Reviewed By wendy23lWe had a lovely two days staying here at Antonis Stella hotel. Email communication was excellent from the outset. Nice bedroom, good air con, great location and view, mini bar stocked with good selection of reasonably priced drinks and snacks. Breakfast €5 with biggest croissants I have ever seen. Pleasant walking distance of village square, idea location to visit beaches in the area or to hire a boat. You can get the ferry to mainland Greece from here. Rooms were clean, good sized kitchen, has microwave. Nice balcony ( shame about the smokers next door). I would return.

The rooms are really lovely, great comfy bed, everything you could need was in there, with good hot showers and lovely toiletries. The balcony has a lovely view of Fiscardo. It was a bit cool in the evening to sit out and got a bit damp but we often sat with the doors open and looked out. Really close to town, but far enough away to be peaceful. Dimitri and the team were super friendly and helpful - helping you with beaches, restaurants and any other recommendations you could ask for. They even helped me with learning Greek. Breakfast was delicious and freshly cooked - we were addicted to the scrambled eggs and enjoyed being spoiled by being cooked for every morning. The pool was big and deep but was a tad on the cold side, Only went in once and then decided the sea was much warmer but often sat on the loungers and enjoyed a drink. Would return without hesitation. Thanks very much for a lovely stay.

Reviewed By 25giorgiosIn short, excellent staff, great location but I don’t think it quite deserves 5 stars. In my opinion a 5 star hotel really is the best, but lack of attention to detail at this hotel is what brings it down. A solid 4.5 stars without question. The staff really are excellent. Never had anyone who was less than very helpful and kind. The location is also great. Shuttle runs into Fiskardo (more on this in a moment) and the town is 15mins walk max if you fancy it. The shuttle runs at various times in the day, with more trips in the evening. What was slightly frustrating is you’d find the van they use hold 6/7 people which isnt enough. They really need to get a much larger mini bus as at times you could be waiting 20 mins as it gets so busy. The hotel is compromised of what are like houses made up of 4 apartments. The rooms are all very spacious and clean. But this for me is where attention to detail issues come into play. Towel rails that have been partially painted over, door handle that was lose due to the screws coming off, patch of plaster coming off the side of one of the guest houses. These are minor things, but I do think in a 5 star hotel, it should be addressed asap. We also had some trouble with some family being above us, they were stomping around at 0700 which wasnt ideal. To the hotels credit we didnt complain about it though so we took that on the chin. Breakfast was between 0700 and 1100. Theres loads of choice and it was all really good. There is an adult pool which is the smaller of the 3. The other 2 pools are connected and generally have families there. The food at the hotel is good. I was surprised to find that the snack/lunch menu had more traditional greek food than the evening menu which was a bit of a shame. We went into Fiskardo town 90% to eat anyway. To conclude we had a great week and happy we chose to stay there. I would happily recommend to family and friends. The hotel for me is nearly there to be 5 stars, just needs a bit more work.

Faros Suites is centrally located inside Fiscardo, a 5 minute walk to all restaurants, supermarkets, car hire, bars and the waterfront. It is located approximately 40 meters from the local beach, and a 10-20 min walk to all surrounding pebble beaches and lighthouse. The property offers comfortable and private accommodation and the pool deck is located on the first floor, offering guests a quite, private and relaxing day. All suites offer a full kitchenette for those wishing to prepare something whilst staying in. Upper floor suites offer a balcony with teak steamer deck chairs. Suites have varying views of the bay and channel, upper floor suites offering the best views.

Reviewed By ElinaA_2019TAWe stayed at the lovely suite 7 which is a very spacious (2 spaces) and tastefully decorated loft! Breakfast was served at a beautiful terrace under the shade of trees! We had a great stay! Tasos was very helpful and gave us great advice about local beaches and restaurants!

It is situated in the picturesque, green and quiet Tselentata settlement with breathtaking views of the Kefalonia-Ithaca Sea Canal. Moreover, it stands out for its building architecture (precise copy of an old kefalonian mansion), stylish accommodation (11 sea view suites & apartments) and the generous, warm hospitality offered by Maira Sarris and the rest of the family. Reviewed By nickfromParisWe had 2 very comfortable rooms at Agnantia Rooms B&B, you feel like being in a boutique Hotel, with one or 2 balconies and a superb view on the near Kefalonia' s coast and Ithaki in front... We were also upgraded for one room ..these rooms are very well equipped , particularly as far as the kitchen corner is concerned , with anything necessary for cooking a meal , 2 electric stoves, and even sponge and dishwashing liquid ...which is rare to find in an hotel room. The Agnantia team ( especially Vasiliki and Nancy) were extremely helpful, when I had problems with the key and the AC which was working nicely, but you have to close all the windows ..and at breakfast , when they propose some extra dishes ( like tyropita, eggs, etc...)and finally the first good coffe at hotel breakfast in Greece ..since 2 weeks! The breakfast is organised, owing to Covid , with different shedules, you have to choose a fixed time to go... But there is quite a variety of foods, some local, salted and sweet, often home made, like jams and orange marmelade, fruit juices...so, if U have a late breakfast, you don't need to have lunch... So I keep a very good souvenir of Agnantia and their smiling team, and I ' d like to go back again, if I return to Fiskardo... One thing to say : the hotel is outside Fiskardo on a winding quiet street up the hill , so if you look for an hotel walking distance from the center of Fiskardo or the beach , choose another option ..and of course , you need a car!!

You can enjoy your morning coffee and just relax with the whole of Fiscardo at your feet and Ithaca so close that you think you can touch it.

Reviewed By alisont229We stayed here for 5 nights as we're travelling around the island for 3 weeks. We had studio no. 1 which has a huge balcony and amazing views over the port. The place was very tastefully decorated and very clean and a lovely comfortable bed and super soft fluffy towels and lounger towels. With air con and a ceiling fan. Kitchen was adequate with a good sized fridge and small freezer compartment. You were literally in the heart of Fiskardo with restaurants directly underneath you. Fantastic base for exploring the north side of the island. Found an amazing beach called Emplisi. One of the best I've swam in. Can't really say any negatives as was beautiful and we thought a good price. But I did have to asked for a clean kitchen cloth and sponge as it stank and hadn't been changed from previous owner. No sharp knives and TV didn't work. But we spoke to Nicko's who sorted it pretty quick. Overall a really lovely clean studio with amazing views in the heart of beautiful Fiskardo. Would definitely recommend.

Terrible room in a nice place
Reviewed By el735Writing this review is difficult for me. Nicolas and his sons are running a wonderful family enterprise with a great restaurant in wonderful Fiskardo. Unfortunately the room we rented from them was a disaster. Squeezed in the attic the room has low ceilings, one is constatly banging heads into the low rafters, but even worse, there is no thermal insulation or soundproofing to the room next door. The room was boiling when we arrived and even with the A/C running for hours it was not possible to cool the room to a temperatre allowing sleep. Even worse, the total lack of soundproofing between rooms 5 and 6 kept us from sleeping, we had some very noisy neighbors. The rooms 1 - 4 should be OK. The terrace of our room #5 was lovely. The owners are aware of the problem and are looking at thermal and soundproofing for the rooms. There is no obvious solution for the low ceilings.

Peaceful, 5 minutes walk from marina, quality apartments
Reviewed By Simon FFirst of all Gina from the moment I made my first enquiry to saying goodbye at the end of our stay was friendly and very helpful. The apartment was spacious (there were two of us), comfortable and well equipped. Kitchen had a small cooker with two hobs a fridge freezer and dining table. The living room had a TV, settee, a good selection of books and a safe. The bedroom had a comfortable King Sized bed, a mosquito net, clothes storage etc. The bathroom had a walk in shower. All rooms were furnished pleasantly. The bedroom and living rooms had doors which led onto a balcony with spectacular views across the marina entrance to Ithaca. The apartment enjoyed air conditioning and a good wi-fi service. There is a small plunge pool on a sun terrace. There were numerous sunbeams each with beat towels provided. Guests are welcome to take the towels for days on the beach. The rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels. Bed lined was changed during the week. The communal areas were cleaned daily and the small grounds contained many beautiful flowering shrubs and plants. Fiskardo beach is across the road. Like most Kefalonian beaches it is rocky and pebbly but a great place for a swim in the sea. I would go back to Anthi's in an instance. Beautiful place.

NorthPoint Houses, Milos (Windmill), Ormos (Bay) and Faros (Lighthouse) are located on the northern tip of the Ionian island of Kefalonia. They are situated in an unrivaled position overlooking, and a short walk from the picturesque bay and village of Fiskardo, with a wealth of restaurants, bars and shops. NorthPoint Houses consist of three separate double-story dwellings, each with their own swimming pool and loungers, set within beautiful, landscaped gardens. The houses and their pools are placed within the gardens in order to maximize privacy for our guests. Each house consists of two large bedrooms on the lower level, both with king-size beds and beautifully appointed marble-clad en-suite bathrooms. On the upper-level there is a lovely sized living room, a fully equipped kitchen, an eating area and a guest WC with laundry facilities. The living room leads onto a spacious balcony with seating and a dining table for outdoor eating.

Haris & the team (& Benny) were incredible throughout, going above and beyond with everything; recommendations, transport, organising a stay in Ithaca! Beautiful pool, kitchen & lounge area for you to relax in. We had an amazing stay and will definitely be back as soon as we can! We’d hugely recommend the houses, but also northpoint rooms and Peranzada in Ithaca, which all sit under same company, and are all breathtaking properties with great interior design and space.
