Not much friendly staff

Food was amazing, but sometimes it tooks to long before they bring for all from my group and some of them have food already cold. 250ml of wine for 5 euro, expensive, but disgusting. The hotel was clean, nice quiet rooms, but the staff spoil main feeling.

Reviewed By Elena MWe stayed for 4 nights during last june 2019. What a magical place! The Hotel is renovated with very modern furniture and layout, I love it! Our room was fantastic, so cozy and clean with the view on the lake, and with the private Sauna! Fabulous for a romantic staying! The restaurant is personally the best part, the food is so special! Every dinner we had different menu with incredible matches of ingredients and delicious wine, the chef is a genius. The hotel staff is so kind and friendly. Really an amazing hotel and restaurant where to take a break from the reality and enjoy this wonderful location in the middle of the nature.

Reviewed By europelover26Beautiful welcome by a suited gentleman and extended by a stunning south tyrolean prosecco and the lightest, fluffiest popcorn ever had. The hotel is located about a 7 minute drive meandering up from bruneck and family run. This is evident throughout as the attention to detail in the dining area was super. Fresh flowers, candles and crisp table linen. A superb start to the evening was the greeting from the kitchen. Simply put; home made herbal black bread, speck and a herbal light green butter. One member of our party had the ‘surprise’ menu which consisted of 3 surprise dishes from the kitchen; a wild mushroom risotto, a meat course and cheese cake to finish. I had the tuna sashimi, rib eye and the chocolate to finish. What was the focal point of these courses was that when they were presented to us on the table there was a fragrance that just filled our table with delight and this extended to our taste buds being completely satisfied. Every single dish was perfectly proportioned, seasoned and presented neatly. Service was quick and professional and conversation was held very well. All the accompanying wines suited the dishes fully. The hotel is a gourmet hotel and the prices for the à la carte reflect this. There is a five course menu for €85 which is in line with prices throughout South Tyrol. Reservations are always recommend and I would highly commend this place.

Best ski holliday with my family

We arrived on the 22 th of februari and immediatly we felt home.The lofts 1&2 where showing to us, large spacious rooms, with bath and big balcony with a view direct on the mountains.The first night slept as a baby and we had or breakfast in the very cosy area downstairs.It was excellent nothing was missing.Everthing was been asked was done immediatly with a smile. Such a wonderfull family. Next day i went skiing and the weather was excellent, in the evening we went for diner in the restaurants nearby. We stayed at garni Walder till the 1March so 8 nights.We took breakfast every morning ordered from there own fresh products. The price that we payed for this wonderfull 8 days was very correct. I will recommend this place to my best friends and family. Hospitality and service 10,price 10, location 10.??????

Unpleasant owner, amazing staff
Reviewed By elzbietah2015We had a great time for 5 days at this hotel until the last hour of our stay which spoiled our stay completely :( Our accommodation was pre-booked and fully paid through Booking.com in advance but on checkout we were requested to pay a substantial part of the charge as, supposedly, the hotel have only received part payment for our stay. After an hour of “negotiations” in an inappropriate language used by woman in charge, dragging English and Polish speaking personnel into the conversation and putting them into an uncomfortable situation, refusal to call Booking.com (booking.com had to reach out to the hotel) it was established that the hotel had access to our full payment but simply was not trained well enough to fully understand their arrangement with booking.com. The saddest part was that we haven’t received an apology. The two stars are given to the amazing personnel, especially Karolina and Asia, who looked after us throughout the entire stay and to the chef for preparing exceptional food. The three lost stars are for 1 last hour of our stay lost on uncomfortable negotiations, inappropriate comments made during the time, and more importantly, for no apology after the entire event.

Reviewed By 2TravelingTheWorldWe stayed at the Hotel Falken for two nights during our Christmas Holiday. We wanted to visit the Christmas Market in Bruneck since it stayed open until Jan. 6TH. We were warmly greeted by the owner who escorted us to our room. The room was large with a balcony and a mountain view, it had a flat screen TV, in room safe for passports etc. and plenty of stroage space for clothes, it also had a sofa sleeper if needed. The bathroom was large and the thing I liked best was the heated floor in the morning when you step out of the shower. The food was good, breakfast was the usual European style with cold meat and cheeses, cereal, & yogurt.

Reviewed By ThedwarfyWe booked for 3 night in the pension. 20min away from the Brunico, the ski stations are really closed. The room and bathroom were sparkling clean. The beds are so dangerous : SUPER MEGA COMFORTABLE. I don’t remember sleeping on such a nice mattress and pillow, and God knows it’s important after a full day skiing! We had a huge balcony for us, view on the mountains. Windows with shutter, which is a must for me as I like to sleep in the darkness and noise-free Breakfast gives lot of choices for everybody’s taste. The pension is a bit far from the bus stop (15min walking I’d say), so make sure you have a car or travel light. The hosts were kind, giving smiles at any time of the day, 7am or 11pm. I definitely recommend the pension Harrasser. They made our holiday much sweeter :)

Welcome to our Oberbaumgartnerhof Our farmhouse is located in a very sunny and quiet location, just 2.5 Km outside of the village Pfalzen in the beautiful Puster Valley. Our two holiday apartments are situated in the new farmhouse with a scenic view to the mountainous Dolomites. Kids will find a lot of space to play and frolic around our farm, while parents are able to enjoy the beauty of our nature in their deck chair. Both holiday apartments dispose of a beautiful balcony. From there you will enjoy the view over the villages Issing and Pfalzen, as well as from the Kronplatz mountain to the Dolomites. The sunny village of Pfalzen is the ideal starting point to discover a lot of hiking trails, mountain bike trips or various other free time activities, the Kronplatz holiday region has to offer. The Issinger Weiher is a very popular natural bathing pond, which in summer attracts numerous bathers looking to cool down. The busy town of Bruneck is just 5 km away from our farm. In winter, you will be able to discover many winter sport activities for the whole family near our Oberbaumgartnerhof. The renowned Kronplatz, South Tyrol's best ski resort, is also just a few minutes away.

It is app. 17 minutes away from the slopes which is just ok. Skibus is app. 1 km away ( better use your car ). 2 km from the appartmant you can get a fresh hot bread from 6am. Kronplatz is top.
