Excellent place
Reviewed By jorge131174Stayed in this hotel in March 2021 on a work trip. The place is an old farm townhouse with an amazing garden area and plenty of open spaces with amazing view of the town nearby. The hotel kept the traditional feeling and it gives this feeling of staying in a place of many years ago allowing you to see great pieces of history around the house. Rooms are big and very quiet ( complete countryside silence) Shower is very nice and the deco is great. There is also a restaurant in the same hotel and only had a change to eat there on my first day but due to COVID restrictions it closed the rest of the days. I tried the pasta and was excellent. The reception lady was very very helpful at all times and very professional and made sure that my stay was great. It is my first time visiting Italy and it is so great to see lovely historical places like this. I will certainly comes back in the future. Highly recommended.

Reviewed By Jo_PichPerfect location for exploring Florence. + just in front of the railway station (30 minutes to town for a few Euros, lots of trains) + other Toscana places are easy to reach such as Lucca, San Gimignano, Siena (by train!) + Empoli is a nice town itself with some good restaurants + friendly staff + clean - sometimes a bit noisy "meetings" on the square in front of the hotel

Scenery from the apartment was beautiful, the whole place is spotless, the staff are friendly and courteous - non-intrusive / let you get on with it. Pool has a reserved subbed area per apartment so no issue there - spotless also. Our studio was well equipped, very kindly decorated and co-ordinated. Good value - great for families / groups. We had difficulty charging mobiles as the plugs we usually use abroad needed a further adapter here so check this out before you travel. And take insect repellent if you are a mosquito attractor - we all got bitten a lot but didn’t have / use anything. Be cautious if you’re not a confident driver - this isn’t in Empoli centre and, in the dark especially, you need to have your wits about you!

Reviewed By Chantelle07Couldn't have chosen a better place for some quite peaceful and romantic time. Not only the place is gorgeous with so many breathtaking views of vineyards and countryside but the people who manage the property are really nice, friendly and extremely helpful. Throughout our stay they made sure nothing was lacking and felt much like friends away from home. The breakfast is optional but well worth it in my opinion if you don't want to bother with making your own (which you totally could as there are kitchens in the rooms). Breakfast includes homemade cakes, biscuits, jams, bread, hot beverages, juices and yogurts for a small price. Every Wednesday they cook up a delicious meal made up of several courses and served with not only water but also their own different wine, giving you an opportunity to taste them in case you want to purchase some later. You will definitely not stay hungry after this meal!! Thank you Sandra and Antonella for such a wonderful stay! Hope to be back soon :)

The stairs are on the outside of the building and there is a lift which goes from the underground car park. The rooms are clean, have AC and a fridge. Although the hotel is on a very busy road we found our room quiet and the member of staff on duty was incredibly helpful and friendly. He gave us information about local places to eat and also how to get from there to Florence by train. Well worth booking in to if you are passing through the area.

Good and cheap little base for discovering Tuscany

However the value for money here is excellent and you are by no means slumming it but going to La Terrazza. There are 3 rooms, Red, Blue and Green. Can only speak about the Green room but was a good size for a B&B, bed was comfortable enough, air con was effective, nice bathroom with decent shower and bidet. Breakfast is limited with only croissants, biscuits, yoghurts and cereals so not the best for people who have dietary requirements. However, you are welcome to use the pots and pans to make your own breakfast and store your food in the fridge. Good to have option to cook for yourself and you are not required to wash up as a cleaner comes to do this. Leonardo the landlord is charming and so was the landlady, also the Terrace at the top is also a nice place for your morning coffee.

Camere ben curate, set di cortesia completo ed ecosostenibile, gestori molto gentili e attenti a venire incontro alle esigenze del cliente. Anche con le restrizioni imposte dal covid si sono attivati per minimizzare i disagi. Una pecca:la poca insonorizzazione. Quando gli ospiti della stanza di fianco hanno fatto il check-in o parlavano con un tono di voce alta sentivamo tutto distintamente. Unita al fatto di essere al piano terra con affaccio al piccolo parcheggio interno, questo fa sentire di avere davvero poca privacy.

Villa Cerbaiola is located on a tophill and offers a wonderful view, peace and silence but, in the same time, it is situated in a strategic position between Florence, Pisa and Lucca and you can reach these cities in less than one hour.The white villa is elegant and wide, with big and refined common spaces like the living room, the reception and the breakfast room.You can choose one of the two standard rooms (one with jacuzzi and one with shower room) on the suite with a beautiful marble bathroom with jacuzzi.If you wish to visit one of the many nice villages of the area, you are near Vinci, San Miniato, Certaldo, Montelupo Fiorentino, Certaldo, Palaia and so on. But if you just want to relax, you can enjoy the amazing park with all sorts of plants, trees and flowers.
Wedding week
Reviewed By wendy_mckinlay2Villa amazing,lovely pool. We had a week here as we were going to a family wedding half an hour away, the weather was hot so lots of lazy days by the pool. Make sure you do a big shop if no car hire taxis expensive. Nice restaurants in Empoli l’orto was fantastic food amazing. We would love to return.
