Comfortable hotel once you get past reception

Reviewed By andrewmbnl

This modern hotel delivers on what its website description offers, with quite spacious (Executive) rooms of contemporary design. Security is good, as you can only access your own floor with your key card. On-site parking works well via pay-by-mobile system. Overall, this was a very peasant stay, and I’d certainly consider returning if I have another occasion to overnight in Brentford. On slight damper was at check-in. An email inviting me to complete my details online assured delay-free check-in, however when I entered the lobby, there were several slightly chaotic queues of extended families who seemed like walk-ins (considering the horse trading that was happening at the front desk, and only one (very brave and patient) receptionist to face the onslaught. A second one joined later but the queues did not seem to get any shorter. Probably the result of the perfect storm of the Jubilee weekend. The restaurant manager called the duty manager who apologetically (and very patiently) brought out her laptop and checked me in, so after my initial irritation, the matter was handled very professionally.

Lovely hotel, stayed for 3 nights, had a room on first floor which was very quiet, had breakfast each morning which was good and well stocked. Sarah and all the staff we came into contact with were very pleasant and helpful. Would stay here again when we next visit.

Noisy neighbours dealt with by an excellent member of the team

Reviewed By MichaelM11036

My partner and I stayed here from the 29th May to the 1st of June. We were welcomed at the reception and made our way to the room. The room was clean and tidy and the location is within a short walking distance to Ealing Broadway or South Ealing Station. We anticipated some noise for the Sunday night, as there were Huddersfield Town and Nottingham Forest fans both staying at the hotel, but this was not the case and a pleasant night's sleep was had . We went about our day on Monday and returned to the hotel where we went to bed. At around 2am, we were woken by the couple next door, who seemed to have uninvited guests. Expecting the noise to calm down, it only got worse with loud talking, thuds and general disturbance. We complained to the receptionists who came upstairs and the noise could be heard from the staircase. They were warned to keep it down but it only got worse, after a brief respite, until 7am when the blissful sound of silence finally fell, unfortunately as our alarm was due. We went downstairs to reception and explained to the receptionist (who checked us in), John. He was very understanding and allowed us a free breakfast and promised to have them thrown out of the hotel and reassured us the problem would be dealt with. Despite the lack of sleep, we made the best of our day and returned to find that the occupants next door, had indeed, been removed. John was very professional in his demeanor and is a credit to the hotel for the way he performed his job and we were very grateful for his assistance. We slept very well on the Tuesday night ?

Great location for National Archives

Reviewed By Colin F

2nd visit to this hotel as spending the following day at the National Archives for research Considering that it's on a busy road, you can't hear much traffic, but that does mean that it's easy to get to. Parking is a little tight (especially in a Discovery!), but onsite parking is useful - unfortunately, it's underground location makes it difficult to increase width of bays without losing too many spaces. A further benefit (at least for me!) is the nearness of a number of excellent pubs serving great beer ranging from a free hose with a huge range to a lovely little "back street boozer" - all with a great welcome. As it's a Premier Inn, you get all of what you'd expect - comfy bed (I prefer the slightly firmer mattresses that they use) & plenty of choice & quantity for breakfast Will be returning

A nice place to stay with friendly staff

Reviewed By FarAway50422441130

Had one night as I was attending a meeting not too far away. On arrival we got checked in by a very helpful and friendly young lady and paid for the car park. Not knowing the area she booked a taxi for us to take us to the venue. The room was quite clean and the bed extremely comfortable. The breakfast staff were all lovely and the breakfast it's self was cooked well and certainly value for money. Normally I stay at a rival hotel chain just down the road but in future I will stay here.
