The staff were very friendly, and helpful, the room was clean and basic but serviceable. The food was lovely but staff made small errors on every course. Would definitely recommend and we will be back.

Dirty Dirty Dirty so Dissapointed

Reviewed By nuttyanitanuts

My husband and I booked in to the hotel for 3 days and were so looking forward to our stay, but the dirt in the bathroom around the base of the toilet was horrendous i complained at the reception and the man came to the room and cleaned it. On the following day I had a shower and was horrified to see the black dirt muck at the back of the taps and under the bath hand rails. My husband didn't want me to make a fuss so as we were leaving next morning I did what i could. My husband has not long come out of hospital after suffering from sepsis and has a catheter fitted so everything has to be very clean. Premier have always had a very high standard of cleanliness so I was disgusted to see this. Yes they have had to let staff go due to covid 19 pandemic but to allow their standards drop so dramatically is not acceptable. Needless to say we will not be going back The staff were so friendly especially Matthew on reception and the staff in the cookhouse and pub attached to the hotel were fantastic. The breakfast was very good as was the evening meals

A fantastic weekend!

Reviewed By Sarahlesmile

We celebrated our wedding at this lovely hotel last weekend and cannot praise the staff high enough for making our wedding day so memorable. From when we arrived, the bar and restaurant staff were so helpful and patient when we requested tables in the restaurant for the Friday night. We were a large group and the food was served efficiently and with great service. Our wedding day ran like clockwork thanks to Elizabeth, the hotel’s wedding planner. She was so reassuring and helpful at all times. The food was delicious and plentiful throughout our stay; both during the wedding reception and at breakfast time. The hotel has recently been refurbished and the rooms were spotless and comfortable, alongside the public areas. We especially enjoyed the outside terrace where each evening we viewed the most amazing sunsets. Finally, the hardworking and friendly staff really added to the enjoyment of our wedding; not just for us but for our guests. Every one of us was greeted by service with a smile on what must have been a very busy weekend. Thank you so much and we look forward to returning for our anniversary!

I stayed here the night before my Wedding and the following night & they were amazing to us. When I booked the room I made a mistake and Michelle fix it straight away saving me lots of stress. Morning of my wedding they helped my Hairdresser & Family members to the room. They allowed me to have breakfast with additional family and they made us feel very welcome and made the 2days special. They are a great team & the food is lovely. Thank you all! Regards Mr & Mrs Davison ☺️

The Hand at Llanarmon

The Hand is an ancient hostelry with all the attributes you'd expect - bags of character, a cosy, relaxing ambience and a warm welcome from your hosts, Jonathan and Jackie Greatorex. As soon as you arrive you feel the weight of the world dissolving as the surroundings work their magic. All the classic ingredients are here - old beams, roaring fireplaces, a casual mix-and-match of pine and oak furniture, real ale and good food. The latter is seriously good. Thanks to the talents of Head Chef Grant Mulholland and his team, The Hand is renowned for award-winning food, an inventive marriage of country fare and sophisticated metropolitan cuisine. The bedrooms, in a variety of sizes, reflect similar influences, with rustic decor and sparkling modern bathrooms. Country lovers just love the location. You can walk in the Berwyns for hours with only the sheep for company and the ever-helpful Hand can arrange many country pursuits, including horse riding, fishing and shooting. You may be away from it all, but you'll also be in the swing of things; this gem of a country inn is so much a part of village life that locals and visitors mix in unaffected harmony.

Best roast lamb we’ve ever had.

Reviewed By SussexmeetsYorkshire

A twenty minute drive down narrow twisty lanes brought us to LLanarmon……and we’ll worth the effort is was. It’s June and there’s two roaring open fires on the go to give us a warm welcome. Mrs SmY had Pork Terrine as a starter this was delicious. Three out of the four of us had the Welsh lamb for main course. I will say that this was the BEST lamb dish I have ever had. I just managed to find room for the Gingerbread Panna Cotta which was excellent. Staff were easy going and friendly. I hope the next time we are in the area we will return to The Hand.

Stayed for 2 nights recently for a family wedding and also had our dogs; we stayed in the family cottage which slept 4. Cottage was compact but had everything you needed for a short stay. Plenty of room and comfortable beds too. The only downside was the lighting, which wasn't brilliant, and also lack of sockets in one of the bedrooms. All staff members worked tirelessly and were always friendly & happy to chat. Special mention has to go to Kasha, who, on the day of the actual wedding seemed to be working morning, noon & night...always with a smile and nothing too much trouble! She is a certainly a credit to the team. Another mention goes to GM Jonathan, who provided us with enough titbits to feed our dogs for a couple of days! They were certainly very happy and would love to visit again! Jonathan was always happy to chat, very friendly and nothing too much trouble. The venue is beautiful, great location and we'd love to visit again soon. Thank you :-)

Staff lovely evening meal great and room large and spacious unfortunately the sofa was not anything I would want to sit on due to the stains. Room at front of building and unfortunately the 30 or so individuals that insisted on shouting screaming etc in the square til 4 am made for a sleepless night. Had breakfast that unfortunately had been under heat too long and bacon completely dried out. So a mixed review. Certainly room for improvement
