Another Nice Stay

Pool is still good, but some lessons were going on while we were in there, despite the signage stating this was not allowed. Service was better than our last visit with Jones being very helpful throughout. Brewery down the street is still ace. Dali Hilton is still a winner.

Service are fabulous, staff from housekeeping, food and beverage and front desk are very attentive. Restaurant buffet dinner offer are value of money. Swimming pool and gym are very user friendly and comfortable to use it. Hotel GM - Simon Chen are lovely and very professional.

Very dirty but cheap
Reviewed By dertester1The hotel is located far from the old town. You can walk (40 minutes), take the bus or rent a bicycle (not free anymore). Around the hotel are a lot of building sites, therefore it is dirty. There is no breakfast (although booked, confirmed and paid) available or any other food. The rooms are not cleaned during the stay and have been dirty in the beginning. If you are used to the low chinese standart of cleaning and just go for the price, book MTB otherwise search for better options.

Reviewed By nineidiRooms are really nice, some have mountain views. The hotel is conveniently located close to the pedestrian zone. The staff is really friendly and has two cute cats and a really really cute dog. The breakfast was good and freshly cooked.

Reviewed By Sounantha KGreat hospitality from the owner an staffs, nice architecture design, warm tidy room and tasty breakfast. We felt like staying in a Chinese mansion, tasting traditional tea as well as enjoying the lovely view of the inner garden.

Charming hotel just outside Dali old town
Reviewed By stevk22This hotel can be a little hard to find, down a back alley just outside the Erhai Gate of Dali Old town. Overall, though, this was a fantastic experience. Well located, right near old town, but also near the Erhai Gate where you can pick up taxis and other services. Friendly, helpful guests and clean, if simple, rooms. It can be a little loud at times, so be aware of that.

Sadly disappointing
Reviewed By zenda zLittle worth praising except the service. 1.10 meters from the main road. Too much traffic noise at night. Don't make a booking as long as the rooster living next door is alive, for it shrieks at 5 in the morning! 2.Mediocre sanitary condition. Layer of dust on the windowsill. 3.Poor design of bathtub and shower head. Wet floor after a quick shower. 4.15 minutes by walk from the south gate. A lot of guesthouses available inside the town with less noise and better views. Not recommended.
