Poor reception staff, excellent waitress
Reviewed By tim252When I made the booking I specifically asked for a twin bedded room in the quietest part of the hotel. We were given a king sized bed right next to the lift shaft above the front door facing the busy road, so much for customer service, When we checked in, despite there being many members of staff around not one of them offered any help with our luggage or even having the manners to hold a door open whilst we struggled. The same thing happened when we left, once again a member of staff standing by the exit door just watched us struggle. If a manager reads this he/she should consider giving reception staff some coaching in basic good manners. Our waitress could give them some guidance, she was excellent.Our evening meal was very good and she made the experience an enjoyable one

Great price but fails at breakfast
Reviewed By John OA nice cozy establishment right off highway 15 km 6 with a nature look to its wooden style. The beds in the hotel section are comfortable with a good size bathroom but with water pressure problems sometimes. The downsize really is at breakfast where you'll notice that they are trying to save on what they offer. At times the juice jar runs out and there's no refills until you ask for it. Unlike other South American (Brazil) breakfast setting where it's a pleasure to head down to the breakfast bar and feast. Surely for the price vs benefits ratio it's a plus.

Reviewed By Randy011Only use this hotel if you can drive to it, as it is not 6.5 km from city center as the description says, but rather 6.5 miles or 10 km. Bus #7 "Termus" from Concordia which stops at the Spa is a healthy walk away, however. A taxi ride was 40-45 pesos one way. Amenities listed by the hotel may apply to the bungalows, but not the very small twin room that we occupied. Breakfast is typical Argentine fare: white bread and cold cereal (no cold milk), small glass of juice, and weak coffee (made in an urn) with hot milk. Other 3 star hotels offered far more including a selection of breads, meat, cheese and eggs. The hotel restaurant is the ONLY restaurant within walking distance; you need that car to drive to the city. We slipped into the kitchen one morning and found it disgusting: open garbage pails with flies around and more. The public health department couldn't possibly give this any but a "0" rating. Having only fair, at best, Spanish ability, we were not pleased to find that desk clerks in this 3 star hotel only knew Spanish. Other 3 star Argentine hotels had fluent bilingual desk clerks. Maybe the hotel is better during the summer season--we stayed in early April. Two nights was more than enough here.

Reviewed By Tracy_and_Paul_NZWe had booked into a hotel in Salto, across the river from Concordia, but couldn't take our hire car across the border so had an 11th hour change of plan. The staff at the Hotel Salto Grande were very accommodating and not only found rooms for us, but also helped cancel our other booking and organised a taxi to take us to Salto to pick up some important documents. The room was basic, but clean. The bathroom could definitely do with some work, but again it was clean, and infinitely preferable to the alternative of a night in our awful hire car (word of warning, Europcar in Buenos Aires could be renamed Rent-a-Dent!). Breakfast buffet was continental style, but plentiful and had good views across the city. The pool was lovely and warm. The hotel is located near a central plaza with restaurants and clubs, so rooms were a bit noisy with dance music til the early hours. The nocturnal activities of fellow guests were unfortunately also shared through the thin walls, but the hotel was very reasonably priced so one shouldn't set expectations too high! There was also secure parking provided. All in all a great emergency place to stay, for a brief stopover.

Não tem restaurante mas tem refeitório. Camas muito confortáveis. Fui para pescar; a pousada tem pacotes completos incluindo os equipamentos, o que nos libera de pesos e custos extras. Utilizei o translado para a volta e cheguei direto no aeroporto. Voltarei, com certeza.
