Reviewed By Sven Jan Hiltbr... HWe‘ve booked it down in Casana based on pictures in booking.com Our room didn‘t look a bit as shown in booking.com. It was tight and dark and the option for breakfast? The scrambled eggs were overly salty, the orange juice a laugh and the toasts felt like styropor. I‘m glad we had it included for 3€/ pers, because 10€/pers would have been 27€ too much for what was offered.

Being in a local hotelier family (for generations), Simone and Fabrizio have added skiing and snowboard instructors (respectively ) to the package (usually well booked out in advance ... so good luck ). I was lucky enough to try cross country (or ski touring ) with Simone for the first time and will happily repeat that amazing experience : ))))) With their local knowledge of the terrain and surrounds, they go out of their way to help in all manner of requests and dumb questions : ) and with a well-spring of patience for board games ( with the 9 year old Sibi).... We will return and appreciate the genuine hospitality felt.

Reviewed By gaviny2021We stayed at Hotel Bes for a whole week with half board for a skiing holiday at Claviere. The hotel is just across the road from the slopes and ski lift, staff very friendly, real family feel to the place, would totally recommend staying there, we will definitely go again when we return to Claviere and could not recommend them enough.

Enjoyable and friendly staff!
Reviewed By keenancarpsWhen we arrived we got welcomed by all staff with open arms who took real interest in who we were and where we came from etc. The food we are supplied with is enjoyable with options of a salad bar, and 3 course meal which had to supply 40+ people, which they did well. Our room when we arrived was tidy and gets cleaned everyday which is what we wanted after a tough day of skiing. Overall the Passero is a friendly hotel with good people in and we couldn’t have asked for more. Would recommend to anyone wanting to ski nearby.

Reviewed By Kim HFor skiing this cozy hotel is excellent. From the lower floor at the Hotel you can put on your skis and drive 30m down to the lift . Then adding the warm and welcome hosts who serve you the best Italian food, the stay can only be a succes. Defenitely not the last time we have booked this Hotel.

Cutesy family style hotel in the centre of Claviere
Reviewed By EatDontTweetClearly trying hard to give the hotel and restaurant a cutesy, fashionable, casual mountain inn decoration. Atmosphere as a result is very pleasant. Prices definitely reflect this, a little too much. Substance doesn't really bear close inspection, however: weak water pressure in the shower, and bathroom not covered by decorative enhancements elsewhere. Our bedroom was very small, charming, but above the kitchen, so very noisy from swinging service door. Service was friendly but request for breakfast earlier than 8am was met with a blank. All in all a mixed bag, though having experienced 2 Claviere hotels in our stay, I'd guess the town standard is low, and the charm on offer here makes it a reasonable choice. Whether it justifies the price premium is then a matter of personal choice

A great hotel for a school ski trip.
Reviewed By jonathansF3245SHI have just returned from a week of skiing in Claviere, Italy, with 70 children and eight other staff members on a school ski trip. Throughout our stay, Fulvia and the rest of the staff made us so welcome. The food was perfect for the children to have the energy for a day of skiing and then to refuel in the evening. The housecleaning team cleaned and tidied every room, every day; something I had not experienced before in 15+ years of running school ski trips. The lounge area was perfect for nightly meetings to discuss the highlights of each day's skiing and to host games evenings where we played board games, rather than sit on devices all evening. Located at the end of a short street, we felt it was safe to allow the children to play in the snow without strangers wandering past all of the time.
