Reviewed By nickj409Don't stay here at the moment if you want to sleep between the hours of seven in the morning and six in the evening , every day including Sunday because there is building work going on and the noise is constant and very loud . Other than that a decent hotel but cannot see that building work being finished anytime soon.

We love the way the apartment is furnished - the drapes, the lovely lace curtain adorning one wall of the bedroom, cute accessories and kitchen. It is a wonderful testament to the thoughtful design of the female owner. Even the bedroom slippers are cute! Although we stayed only 1 night, it was worth the 3 hr drive from Seoul as Danyang-gun is quite a pretty sight in mid April with the cherry blossoms. We had a comfortable stay thanks to the warm hospitality of the owner's mum. Though we don't speak Korean & she does not speak English, we had no difficulty understanding her. ? We are happy with the simple breakfast though we had to prepare it ourselves. If we ever decide to re-visit Danyang, we will stay here again.

What an Excellent Find!!

The wedding hotel (Grand Plaza Cheogju) is too far from the city centre and too expensive for the use of just a few hours sleep. So, we decided to look around for a hotel which is more reasonably priced and located in the city centre. We found this little gem through our search on TA. We were a bit sceptical in the beginning, because they aren't many reviews on the hotel (especially in English). However, there were a few very positive reviews on Booking.com, so, we went ahead an booked 3 superior rooms. We were very surprised when we arrived!! The condition and facilities of this hotel way exceeded our expectations! Location is very central to the shopping district and market (with restaurants) of the city. We couldn't find any fault with it. Although the staff spoke only limited English, they were very friendly and helpful. They were so generous and hospitable, becasue a lot of snacks and drinks were provided for free from the lobby and also in the little fridge in the room! Really, really unexpected and highly recommended. I have included some photos of the room to show how awesome this place is!

The best resort in Danyang area.

We stayed in two room and one living room, and could cook in there. There was a little bigger than I guess, and the staff was kind. We stayed 1 day, and there was very good to us with good view and wind.

Though the hotel was old, but the inside was well-managed and clean. The staff and the location was no problem. The room was wide and good to us. There was close the Sky walk by car, and the river road. Good for its price.

Reviewed By YuzimomoOverall very happy with the hotel. Is remotely located, and not accessible by public transport. There is really nothing in the vicinity. We stayed there because of business and everything are well arranged. It is a boutique hotel with one elevator so I was happy when I got my room on level two when I didn't need to wait for the slow elevator. The rooms are clean and very high tech. Beakfast spread is considered very sumptuous.

Reviewed By HndicnI loved this place. It’s amazing value for what you get. The owner is super friendly and helps you get your bearings with tourist information. Rooms are really clean and the bed is very comfortable. Location is perfect, very near the bus stop for the bus from Seoul. They don’t offer breakfast but there’s a convenience store seconds away. You can buy your food and eat it in the shared kitchen. Danyang is in a beautiful location and staying here will help you get the best out of your trip. The owner works hard to make guests feel welcome and comfortable. This place deserves to do well.

Reviewed By rhendartoThe hotel is located by the lake. Checked in on Jun 2013 during the start of summer. The view and surrounding were fabulous and calming. There were not much things to see or do in the vicinity of the hotel, beside relaxing, enjoying the scenery, cruising the lake. There's 7eleven on the hotel lobby to shop drinks or snacks. There's free wifi but it is only accessible in the lobby, garden and backyard. The hotel itself is quite old but well maintained. Room size is decent and room is clean. I was given a room on the top floor and it has direct view to the lake. I would say the view is fantastic during period of my stay. I would say this hotel and the area is probably suitable for older couple looking for a relaxing getaway and nice scenery. But overall, I enjoyed my stay.
