Weekend skiing in Pinzolo Italy
Reviewed By travelitisLeedsWe got flights from Leeds with jet2. The first weekend in January just before the schools went back to go skiing for a long weekend. 2 adults and a teenager. We flew to Bergamo near Milan and hired a car to drive to the mountains. The drive took just under 3 hours. The hotel La felce is very compact and looks Austrian. Nicely decorated and clean. The room was warm and clean with a lovely balcony. The balcony was great to keep food and water cool and to look at the snow on the mountains and breath clean mountain air. The room had a shower which I was concerned about after a day skiing but the water was lovely and warm. The breakfast was fine for the price we paid for the rooms. There was choice and a warm bun/croisant type thing each morning. We ate up the mountain for lunch and went out in the evening. The owner gave us discount vouchers for local restaurants all within walkin distance of the hotel. The hotel was lovely and quiet so we all got a good nights sleep. In the evening the sleepy town came alive when the shops opened. We found a lovely small market selling warm alcohol and cheese similar to Parmesan which was fabulous. The best I have ever eaten. The hotel is within walking distance to shops, restaurants and the cable car. We did used the car to drive to the cable car which has free parking. There was a car park full of huge camper vans. People had come to ski for the weekend. We hired skiis and boots in Pinzolo Euro Sports and bought ski passes for 3 days at the cable car. The hotel sells ski passes for the area. There was no snow down in the town but up the cable car in Pinzolo we found the snow. There is a nursery slope and blue, red and black runs. Although due to there being no snow for weeks some of the black runs were closed. As intermediates there was enough for us to do and there were snow making machines. The sun shone the whole time we were there. Madonna di Campiglio is worth a visit but much busier and full of fur coats. There did not seem to be any English in Pinzolo just a place for the Italians to have fun in the snow. Would use the Hotel again and expect ti would be lovely in the spring and summer.

Cucina particolarmente curata con prodotti del luogo e ingredienti genuini, pasta fatta in casa, gelato artigianale e dolci di nostra produzione. Particolarmente attenti ai problemi di diete particolari e cucina senza glutine secondo metodologia A.I.C.

Reviewed By Trudi BWe had a great week staying at Garni Al Nardis. Loris looked after us well. Rooms were comfortable and really clean. Breakfast set us up well for each day. When we discovered that Loris used to be a chef with Dunne and Crescenzi in Dublin, we asked if he'd cook dinner one night - one of the best dinners we had during our stay!!!

Reviewed By mirceamihaieThis is the 3rd time we stay in an apartment at Rosa delle Dolomiti. We enjoyed our stay, we had all the necessary comfort. The room was warm, very clean, with big rooms and bathroom. We enjoyed using the sauna. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We felt safe all the time. I wish all the best to the accomodation staff!

The owner and all the staff were making feel as real guests, not anynymous clients. I highly recomend to everyone who is looking for something more than clean rooms. A peaceful and charming guesthousehotel in the old centre of Carisolo, a mountain village that has retainedits local traditions and environment intact. We have sixteen large rooms with two, three, or four beds, all with private bathroom and TV. As comfortable as being at home. We are available whenever you decide,through out the year. Come and enjoy the Doss Sabion with its breathtaking view , from the Brenta Dolomites to the historical peaks of the Adamello and Presanella ; We are adjacent to ciclopedonabile slipping beside the River Sarca 25 km walk along the Val Rendena ; we are right at the entrance of the wild and wonderful Valley of Genoa with its majestic Nardis waterfalls ; for bikers adventurous there is the new downhill track " Sfulmini " ... and then we have the fresh air that only the mountains can offer. We are 400 meters from the ski lifts , 12 km from Madonna di Campiglio and 700 meters from the center of Pinzolo . 770mt of altitude above sea level .

Reviewed By Mr HWe spent there again a wonderful week with the children. Place fully prepared for families with children. Apartments very well equipped and clean and fragrant. We were in the apartment Garden. A large area in front of the apartment so that children remained much on outsite. A wonderful place to recommend :)
