Tinned mushrooms on a breakfast? Really?

Reviewed By Matt_Vic2014

Stopped here for breakfast after a dog walk. Menu was expensive for a cafe breakfast, so expected it to be decent quality. The food was delivered to the table, and there was literally a tablespoon of tinned mushrooms on the breakfast. No cutlery was brought to the table and I then had to walk inside to get some and was offered some wooden cutlery… I asked for some normal cutlery which I was given after telling them I don’t wish to struggle to eat with wooden flimsy cutlery. Over £22 for two poor quality breakfasts and two drinks and poor service. I will not return here and I’d advise people to not come here unless you want poor quality food and poor service and expensive prices… tinned mushrooms…. Who even does that?

One of the best holidays I’ve ever had!

Reviewed By 12345Lx

Me and my boyfriend came here for our first holiday together. We had the most incredible time - the platinum caravans were just beautiful, really spacious and had really good facilities (cooking implements, television, bath etc). The actual site was lovely too; we used the pool which was really nice, and the bar which had entertainment for kids. The staff everywhere, both at the bar and reception were so incredibly kind and helpful - they really made our visit special. The site is also ten minutes away from so many things! There are lots of close beaches, shops and arcades. We really had an amazing time and will definitely be coming back. I can’t fault this holiday park at all. Isabel.

What a lovely place to stay. We were there for two nights. Wish it could’ve been longer. We were in the small twin bedded room, and although it was small it was beautifully furnished. The weather was very warm, but there was a great fan to combat the heat. Matt checked us in and was very helpful, and Gaby, our waitress at breakfast, was really lovely. The breakfast was one of the best we’ve had, & we’ve stayed in some pretty swanky places!!

Amazing few nights away

Reviewed By Stevieboy34

We have just come back from a few nights away, staying at Quex Livery Glamping. Stayed for a friends wedding, and was the most wonderful few days. Not just because of the wedding, but Tracey and Dawn (your hosts) were amazing, facilities are great (I never knew you could have hot running water in a horse box) and the bed was sooo comfy. We really didn't want to come home and are already looking at when we can go back next year! Thank you for an amazing few days, just what we needed.

Only 4 toilets and 2 showers , nowhere near enough and not very clean due to the amount of people having to share ! Toilet waste go in big above ground storage tanks that you have to remove lid and smell days of effluent that’s been sitting in the sun, says dogs are welcome on website ,on arrival noticed they have sign say dogs must be kept on leash this rule does not seem to apply to the many permanent caravans, but I was reprimanded for having my dog off because “he’s a bit big” .grass needs cutting, bins need emptying all in all a very poorly kept campsite, also the house on site keep chickens so you wake up to a very loud cock a doodle do ! Every 10 seconds from 5am till 11am and farm dog barking at 3am.
