At the same time the location of the farm is ideal for reaching the sea, just 5 minutes away by car, the most beautiful medieval villages like Bibbona and Casale Marittimo or Bolgheri with its spectacular avenue of cypresses and its wines of excellent quality. The most beautiful cities such as Pisa, Siena, Volterra, Lucca are only 1 hour's drive. And after a day out in Tuscany, there is nothing better than a dip in our pool to cool off and sunbathe. For children there are safe spaces and games to enjoy the outdoors. In the apartments and rooms everything is designed to offer maximum comfort, not to mention good taste and attention to every detail in the typical Tuscan style. The family will welcome you with the sympathy and the unique energy that characterize each of its components, always ready to help guests and advise where to go. Reviewed By teacupdogWe only spent one night at le vallette but wish we could have stayed a lot longer. It's so beautiful. The apartments are fairly basic but are clean and comfortable and attractively decorated. Each apartment has its own gazebo/outdoor eating area. The garden is beautifully maintained; there's table tennis, swing ball, a trampoline and hammocks to relax in. The pool is great, it has a springboard and loads of sun loungers around. Finally, the location is ideal - near the sea and not far to drive to see many of the famous sights of Tuscany. We will definitely return.

Reviewed By Billy SAs usual the team at Sant'Elena were 2nd to none. They made us feel incredibly welcome and relaxed throughout the whole stay. The breakfast is probably the best buffet you'll ever have (from wild cinghiale to fresh apricot tart) and the all round atmosphere is wonderful. Hopefully see you soon!

The room is very beautiful and old-style in a good sense. You really have feeling that you are in the country-side house. Good quality for this price. The breakfast was nothing special but you can understand it if you know that you are just two guests in this place. Just one negative thing - the shower after 2 minutes was not working and we had to wait about 1-2 hours until we will have water again.

Reviewed By JeepjeepjeepA lovely campsite and the children had a great time swimming every day. Good lodge-tent booked with ROAN near the pool. Very well kept and nice food in the restaurant. However - the reception staff on check in were so rude! I arrived on 27th August and had my travel documents on my phone which I had ready to show but as I arrived my battery ran out. I had been up since 4.00 am to catch 7am flight which was delayed for an hour. By the time I got to the camp at 1pm my phone was dead. The lady was extremely impatient , even getting up to go out and shout at the taxi man to move his car! She couldn’t find my details by my name which I find very odd and so she sent me off with a dismissive flick of her hand to my travel company’s tent down the road. It was 32 degrees heat and I was on my own with 3 children under 8 and 2 suitcases. Why couldn’t she have offered to charge my iPhone? Because that’s all the lovely staff at ROAN did for me. I waited for 20 mins and went back again to check in. There was no smile, no welcome - she looked at me like she was disgusted. I was very shocked and even my children asked ‘mummy why was that lady so mean?’ I decided not to let it affect my holiday but it was a horrible start. I told the lady how upsetting she had made it but she didn’t care nor apologise. It was a 15 min check in which seemed extremely unnecessary.

San Filippo was an old farm that has been completely renovated to house this day our b&b; we furnished our rooms with care and in a Tuscan style. The farm is located in the town center of Bibbona but is completely surrounded by greenery. Our B&B is located in the perfect spot to visit the most important tourist destinations in Tuscany, from the coast to the interior.

Reviewed By EllaJ24We wanted a B&B that was in Bibbona so that it was close to the other cities to visit. We were greeted with smiles and friendly hospitality here. With Italian and English speaking hosts. The room was superior and exceptionally clean. We had the suite, and it was the best, the bedroom was very comfortable with one of the best beds I have slept on, and a TV, complete with WiFi service. The other room had the view from two different sides and all windows could be opened if you wanted some fresh air. It also had a small fridge, and couch/ lounger than could be pulled out for an extra bed. And a table and chairs. Tea & coffee service in the room, with coffee or tea. The breakfast was complete with fresh fruits, pastries, cakes and a nice selection of local savory meats & cheeses, some yoghurt were available along with several varieties of juices. Fresh coffee or cappuccino or tea to start off the morning. Parking was abundant and safe. Podere San Filippo is up the hill, easily a short distance (3 minute walk) into the center. Farmica ( Chemist/Pharmacy) was located right around the corner. The main Piazza ( Square) was full of wine tasting and small bars. I loved our stay here so much that I am looking forward to coming again in the autumn.

The area around bibbona is wonderful to visit and the wines were some of the best in Italia. The on site restaurant was a good way to end the day and the menu, very creative. The restaurant down the road towards Bolgheri you recommended was exactly what we were looking for another night. We already miss the quiet and serene breakfast outside where everything offered was delicious…..Grazie Mille for everything and a Grazie to the staff working there, everyone was friendly and helpful….it couldn’t of been any better !

Reviewed By valinaf1983We stayed 5 nights as we chose this tiny little village as our starting point for our Tuscany discover. Location was excellent, with a lovely garden and really quiet. Marco was really helpful and provided us lots of useful information on what to visit and where to eat. If quiet and beauty is what you are looking for, this place is exactly where you need to stay.
