Ok stay, nothing special
Reviewed By nadinebO689UNStarted off our honeymoon here, we checked into a room with two single beds, not what we requested. The receptionist said they could push the beds together. This wasn’t a good first impression. Breakfast was delicious and rooms were very clean. The hotel was in a good central location, but the attention to detail was lacking. There were no mirrors in the room (a full length mirror would be nice or even just something small in the main room for doing hair etc...), the shower head reaches my neck, and I’m quite short, making it awkward to have a decent shower and the room was very hot at night. We were also charged for parking when it said it was complimentary in the card in the room. I think if we’re in Benesov again we would try a different hotel. The staff should really work at making it a special stay for their guests.

Golf excellent, hotel poor
Reviewed By IngieWe stayed on a four night golf break. The courses were in beautiful condition and were quite quiet. The hotel was poor. We had been put in a modern annexe five minutes walk from the main building. The rooms were adequate but no more than that. Breakfast was very poor Tables were not cleared of dishes , & there were few staff around. The corridor had the same trolley with dirty plates on it the whole time we were there. The spa was closed all day on Mondays- we had not been informed in advance. I would definitely go back to play golf but would stay somewhere else.

Fantastic Stopover!
Reviewed By tjanderson5This wasn't the fanciest, most comfortable, most convenient place we stayed on our three week trip. But it was the best. We'll have the memory of our stay here far longer than at any of our other stops. The owner was very gracious and gave us a tour of the eleventh century buildings he is restoring. He spoke little English but his outgoing personality and enthusiasm for what he was accomplishing made up for it. We stayed here largely because of its proximity to the Lesany Military Museum, but would certainly return just for the pleasure of staying here again. Highly recommend. They serve a super breakfast and have a nice restaurant open for dinner.

Welcoming baroque chateau owned by the descendants of an old Czech nobility, the Sternberg family. Guided tours, park and gardens with mini-zoo (kangaroos, lamas, etc), delicious cuisine, cosy cafe with home made desserts.

Reviewed By denischurchSaw here as part of an APT tour. A beautiful property. They also put on a falconry display. Quite amazing. Wandering through there were so many things to see. Eating at their restaurant was also excellent.

Also very comfortable is just relax in the whirlpool or take several different types of massage beginning with sport massage, over the aromatherapy to the classical massage. Based upon an order are also available cosmetic services. For holding corporate events or just friends meetings comes in handy Brunswick six-lane bowling alley or Grosso restaurant with delicious cuisine, home-made pastries and spacious outside patio.

Reviewed By ziya dIt is a very nice hotel. Especially their stuff is very helpful and kind. And the restaurant. I think it is the best place to eat in Benesov. I would stay in this hotel again if I were in Beneshov in future.

Spacious and peaceful
Reviewed By DiggerPerthAfter riding past we realised it was beside a giant parking lot for the nearby castle and was integral with the Jawa museum. We had an upstairs room which was enormous - not only did we have a bedroom which was extremely spacious but we also had a lounge room as well. The rooms probably could have slept 6 easily. The furnishing could probably be described as 'quaint" but it was all comfortable and very, very roomy. The only downside was carrying our suitcases up the long narrow stairway. We struck what seemed to be a day staff who didn't really seem too switched on and then what we presume was probably the owner later in the afternoon. Breakfast was OK though lacked a cooked offering. As said its integral with the Jawa museum so we also had a look through there - an amazing number and collection of bikes. Whilst its no resort I'm sure its probably amongst the best on offer in the area and perfectly suitable. It is on its own though there are no nearby shops or cafes (nearest restaurant is the game/hunting lodge restaurant on the way to the castle - OK to walk in summer but I wouldn't want to in winter.

Terrible food
Reviewed By Chris WReview is based purely on the food - we didn’t stay overnight and checked out early as the food was so bad. Buffet dinner was very limited in selection, basic, badly cooked and impossible to eat due to the amount of salt in each dish. The place seems nice, and good location. Bring your own food or find some other alternative places to eat.

Can not be better for the price
Reviewed By liorh819I've booked 7 rooms in this hotel for my family, they came to visit me for my wedding. So how to start... It was perfect for them! Hotel has been renovated not long time ago, so all the rooms in very good condition, clean and comfortable.. Rooms are quiet big. The girls in the reception are amazingly nice and friendly, the lady in the dining room in the breakfast was amazing, always ask if they needed more things. Coffee and tea are available all day long for free. Hotel located on the main street of benesov, just few steps from everything (train station, restaurants, shops.. Really all what they needed was outside) All the guests where totally happy. Breakfast was very good for European standards... Only two things i can say as not so good, the first is that there's no air conditioning and the second is the lady which clean up the rooms didn't do her job.

Hotel Konopiste Nova Myslivna is situated near the most beautiful castle of the Czech republic Konopiste. Hotel has 14 rooms. There is restaurant in the building (Czech and international specialities). WiFi free in rooms and also in public areas. Hotel and restaurant are baby friendly. We have childrens playground, childrens corner, garden chess, frisbee playground, table tenis, toys and games... The hotel and its surroundings are perfect for weddings, corporate events, celebrations and outdoor exhibitions.
