Located in the small town of Bečići in Montenegro, Splendid Conference & SPA Resort was opened in 2006 as the first 5 stars hotel on the eastern coast of the Adriatic sea. Hotel Splendid is situated 2 kilometers from the tourism capital of Montenegro - Budva - right at the seafront, with its own private beach. The hotel has 322 superior rooms, most of them with sea view, as well as 4 Junior and 13 Wellness suites, a Penthouse and a Presidential suite for VIP guests. Our hotel has four bars and three restaurants of different cuisines, the largest SPA centre in Montenegro and the Casino Royal. Splendid Conference & SPA Resort has the largest conference venue in Montenegro. The venue can host up to 800 people. Hotel Splendid offers several modern halls and syndicate rooms with beautiful decoration and all the necessary technical equipment, suitable for business events, but also for weddings, gala dinners or family celebrations.

Reviewed By Neil DThe Hotel is in a great position near the town and you think you have arrived at a 5 star hotel when you arrive . I don’t know if it’s because it’s the beginning of the season , but the quality of service is awful . The unsmiling staff are surly and unhelpful and the quality of the food is disgraceful . The food is tepid , tasteless and presented like food in a motorway service station . A solitary candle on the tables does nothing to give the restaurant any atmosphere . Sometimes I got a discount , sometimes I didn’t and no one could explain why . I ask for white wine and get red . Hardly anyone speaks English and the whole experience makes me want t to move on somewhere more caring . I am still stuck here until Wednesday unfortunately .

Reviewed By CJ_1851This is a legitimate 4 star hotel. A few finishing touches and very minor repairs needed in the room we stayed in, but clean and a great view of the mountains and sea. Beds were comfortable, and excellent water pressure in the bathroom. Small semi-circular stand-up shower, no tub. I imagine that some plus-size guests may find the shower too small, and difficult to move around in. Our second-floor room was pretty quiet. Sometimes we could faintly hear the nightly live music from our room, but not enough to keep us from sleeping. The entertainment was overall very good. We enjoyed most of the musical entertainment the hotel offered. The hotel caters to families, so expect a lot of children at the hotel. There is a lot for children to do at the hotel, besides the beach. There are kid's pools indoors and out, outdoor playgrounds, and a great play room (with a couple of table tennis tables that adult "children" like my wife and I enjoyed.) The hotel has its own section of beach on the Adriatic Sea, and lounge chairs and umbrellas are free to use by hotel guests (this is not always true at other hotels). The breakfasts at the hotel were very good. Maybe somewhat fewer choices than some other inclusive hotels, but plenty to choose from anyway, all well prepared and tasty. Staff make or break even the best hotel facilities, and we are happy to say that the staff we dealt with at this hotel were kind, helpful, and professional. They were also able to cover our need for both English and Russian speaking staff.

Lovely comfortable hotel
Reviewed By westmorlandtravelStayed for 1 week at this hotel following Croatia tour with RSD. Well run hotel staff excellent and most helpful and friendly. Food varied and plentiful. We were on an all inclusive package and drinks were readily available at all appointed times. Only criticism is it’s proximity to the beach. This was only accessible by a long series of steps which would be impossible for disabled travellers. Lots of building work in the vicinity which will eventually ruin sea views currently available. Easy access to Budva on the local bus which ran frequently below the hotel. All rooms appeared to have balconies which would be beneficial to smoking clients.

Food variety and the kindness of the staff, especially at the reception, and of the maids, were exceptional. Also, the sea was warm, so we went swimming every day. The only complaint is the untidy plot between hotel and the promenade on the coast, but it is not related to the hotel itself. However, system for providing beach towels to hotel guests should be bettered, as supplies were not always sufficient. You can walk from the hotel to the Old Town of Budva to the northwest, or to the beach Kameno, to the southeast, if you like. Plenty of places to drink or eat something while looking at the seaside on the routes. Overall, really pleasant experience that we will most likely repeat.

Villa Allende guests are not served.

Comfortable bed ,very good equipped kitchen with everything you need . I would highly recommend it as you really deserve to see and enjoy the atmosphere .

Great service from the start and special shout outs to Nikola, on the main stage bar, who makes the perfect Pina Colada, and Nora and Anna on the entertainment team, who were great with our children! Perfect hotel for families and couples alike, couldn’t have asked for more. Great food with plenty of selection for even the fussiest of eaters. 10/10

Reviewed By I863IXjuliefThere are 3 hotels all together I stayed in the main one at the top of the hill. The food was amazing they were loads of choice. The drinks were great with again a lot of choice. I had an amazing view and massive veranda. It's very near the beach and an half hour stroll to the old town which is definitely worth a visit.

Great vacation in a cozy place
Reviewed By _A8928EPPerfect new hotel with fresh room. The room has everything you need: shower, TV, wi-fi, air conditioning, small kitchen with different kitchen accessories. You can cook everything you want and then enjoy dinner in your room on a balcony with sea view. Cleaning is good, staff is friendly and very helpful. Sea is clean and warm! There are a lot of cafes and bars on the beach. You can walk to Budva (30 minutes on foot) or get there by car (7 minutes). Larimar location is perfect! I really recommend you this place to stay.
