Reviewed By Dr Souvik CI went to Nocci Residency and Resort in Balasore along with my mother, wife and two sons. We had a beautiful time. We enjoyed the swimming pool, the lawns. The lunch was awesome with mixed fried rice bhetki fish curry dal makhani rice and mutton roganjosh. Presently the spa is closed but when we went 2 years ago we took full body spa and it was lovely experience. The ambience is lovely.

Reviewed By brave1The Arpita Beach resort is in my experience the best place to stay in Chandipur close to the beach compared to the other hotels in the area. Rooms are decent, staff is very helpful, food is good although choice may be a bit limited. A little maintenance is required in the plumbing in the new building, but overall I would stay again if I got a good price deal.

Reviewed By 201411ppStayed at this OTDC property from Feb. 13 to 16. Undoubtedly it is in the most convenient location to enjoy the spot. The hotel has the personal gateway to enter into the sea beach. The property is spread in ample space with natural ambience. The rooms are spacious and cosy, especially the Suite rooms. The hotel has a restaurant with local delicacies like prawn or crab to enjoy. The behaviour of hotel staff is cordial. We only faced a hiccup when the restaurant manager forced us to pay for the food which we cancelled. Overall it is the most suitable choice to stay at this almost virgin sea beach.

Reviewed By shobhap766I lived in this hotel for few days but I am so satisfied that I never wanted to leave it...First of all here you get all groceries and general thing near by and also there is a hotel below, now about hotel, it is very luxurious for the price it takes,very good service and everything is very clean... Air conditioners work properly while the geyser are perfect.... It is the best place to live in, Thank you Leo Sai Palace for giving me the best experience ever!!!

The resort is unique in its own way in Chandipur . The rooms are quite spacious having balconies both at front and rear side . The Children park and boating facilities are added attractions . The food is really mouth watering .
Halt at Chandipur
Reviewed By AnandarupBThe stop at Chandipur was essentially for a mid-way break in the 9-10 hour drive from Kolkata to Puri. From our search and availability we got a booking in International Tourism Resort in Chandipur. The hotel is located on the Chandipur Road and from the map I misunderstood it to be next to the beach. Although it’s not very far from the beach, but at the resort there is no view or feel of the sea front nearby. You have to drive/ walk down a typical Indian cluttered lane to reach the water front. The resort itself is partly set back from the narrow road with a small frontage, thankfully with a generous garden in making, offsetting the property from the road. The building itself seemed to be nearing completion of construction or renovation. The booking itself was quite interesting. Although, as directed by the hotel management, I deposited 50% of tariff for securing reservation, I only got a telephonic confirmation of reservation. Therefore on the appointed day, I reached the hotel with anxiety as to the real status of my reservation, but my apprehensions were fortunately proved incorrect. Nevertheless, a more professional approach would be appreciable. The hotel was marked as a 3 star property, or I misunderstood it to be so, and had a decent rating. We checked into a room on the ground floor which had a veranda both in the front and rear. We were overwhelmed. The front veranda was good to sit out with a view of the front garden and the rear veranda looked out on a clearing and a water tank, which we were later told to be the future swimming pool. We were however compelled to retreat quickly from the rear veranda because of the stench from the open drain that runs along the building. In fact, we had to live with the all pervasive stench for the night we spent in the room № 106. The room was fitted with an air conditioner but the bathroom did not have any provision for hot water supply. Neither was the usual accouterments consisting of electric kettle and tea/ coffee making items. There was a TV which we did not try viewing. The bed linen and the room were filthy and were changed/ cleaned on specific demand. The chairs and tables were plastic moulded furniture usually used for garden use. The intercom was of no use. Overall, the management was very responsive to feedback, the room service very polite, food very cheap. Except for hygiene factors, the accommodation was adequate considering the price bracket. Driver accommodation is available at extra cost.

Reviewed By vikasgoyal2014Wastage of money spent in staying and food is totally third class, even you complain them they will surely serve you worst then previous one, they have regular habit of serving wrong dish, will serve you steel scrubber parts in your soup, cocroches are roaming on the table, no one care about your reviews and feedback they will continue their own things.

Reviewed By Shuddho GThey have a big campus in between lots of greenery but no sea view and you need to walk a bit to get to the Sea.Expect all that you can and a little less from a low cost place.However,they do have a few ggod premium rooms too on the upper floor.

Poor overall experience
Reviewed By sandip_enigmaWe took two rooms for 4 adults. Very small rooms and tariff was high. Bathrooms were too small. Bad service, poor food. Their AC main switch is at the reception. So whenever there's a power cut, they switch off the AC supply and I had to call them on their mobile phone to request to turn on the AC supply once the power was back. In the middle of the night, I had to get down from 2nd floor to turn on my room's AC as no one answered the my repeated calls. There was no intercom in the room. Food was pathetic both quality and taste-wise. They store raw fishes for several days in freezer and serve the guests. The last day when I was leaving the hotel, no one came to help me carry my luggage up to the car. Extremely disappointed.
