In Assinie, our hotel overlooks the peaceful Aby Lagoon and the superb beach of Assinie Mafia. 39 rooms, 4 suites installed on the edge of the lagoon, on our gardens or directly on our private beach, facing the ocean. The hotel's rooms or suites on the lagoon side are air-conditioned, free Wi-Fi connected, cable television and all have with an individual terrace. The beach side rooms & suites also have all these equipements except TV and free Wi-Fi for technical reasons. 4G and 3G works fine. We hope to see you soon in Assinie!
Nice if the theft didn’t happen
Reviewed By 200nabilaThe hotel was nice, the rooms are clean, staff are kind, but when we went for breakfast, the room service stole around $300 and we’ve reported it to the management, but they only sent us the chief of staff to explain for us that he trusts his people and that it’s never happened in the hotel and if we’re not ok we can call the police to come! ( we all know police investigations how they go here for such incidents) So the lack of seriousness in investigating our report was the only bad thing (the only one but a major one)

Not good meal service
Reviewed By 331hansnWe (3 adults and 4 children) were received in the evening in this hotel with beautiful surroundings. Dinner was served but we were told the kitchen close at 9pm. Next morning the breakfast was served until 10am. For a visit of 3 nights paying 1000 EUR in total, we kept running to keep the hotels timings because of the chefs schedule and pressure from the staff, instead of enjoying our vacation. During this time only 3-4 villas were occupied out of 16. The last evening we were almost rushed through the dinner and wine served in a rush so the hotels staff could leave early. One evening there was no staff available after 9pm. A bit scary! We leave Abidjan to enjoy and relax and return more stressed because of the hotels staff that want to go home early. La réceptionniste Mlle Sahra ne RESPECTE PAS LES COUPLES QUI SE PRÉSENTE À LA RÉCEPTION. Elle est à la recherche d un homme et dérange fortement les couples... elle s’est permise de se rendre a notre chambre le lendemain de notre arrivée soit disant pour nous donner une information concernant le petit déjeuner sachant qu’un de ses collègues masculin aurait bien pu s’en charger Dieu sait combien ils sont nombreux à la réception.... Elle nous a beaucoup déranger tout le séjour en voulant toujours être devant nos yeux en voulant nous servir pour le petit déjeuner et débarrasser alors que nous n’avons pas finit. Ce n’est pas le lieux pour chasser les compagnons ou maris des clientes.

Reviewed By Charlotte MI really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Sole Mio. It is located in Assinie. It's about an hour and a half drive from the airport in Abidjan. It sits on a private beach in a small village. The rooms are on the small side, but it's the outside area that's the hit. The beach is clean, but not swimmable due to rough surf. But the setting is stunningly beautiful. The food is good and the staff is nice and attentive. Breakfast is not included. You pay extra, but restaurant was steps from my room and very convenient. I also got one of the best massages ever from a young lady who works there. Clara who speaks English was also very helpful in making my stay a comfortable one. She gave me a tour around the village. Bring cash to pay for your stay because they don't accept credit cards. I walked to the local ATM to withdraw cfa. I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing stay in Assinie. I hope to visit again and stay longer next time.

The staff go above and beyond to ensure that I was taken care of. It is affordable and worth the price. The beach is clean with not too many people so you get some privacy. I highly recommend this place and will frequent it as much as possible!

The combination of relaxation, entertainment, nature, authenticity, upscale hotel services, make Assinie one of the most recommended destinations of Cote d'Ivoire. Akwa Beach possesses 18 deluxe rooms in a pleasant and enchanting. You will be amazed by its ethnic-inspired decor, delicate blend of elegance, comfort and refinement. This atmosphere is associated with the more contemporary style and technology. We also have a brand new conference center consisting of two meeting rooms (80 to 50 seats), a secretariat and 2 flexible workshop rooms.
Refused to honour Jumia booking

However, it lacks the amenities of nearby similarly priced options - there is no infinity pool and the food is rather bland. We found this out because the owner declined to accept our Jumia booking, claiming that we had made it too recently. We were asked for another 10000 CFA for the room on top of the $87 fee we had paid the website. While waiting for this to get sorted out we ordered lunch. The fish was spiny and the chicken was bony. In total our simple meal came to 21000 CFA and Jumia agreed to refund our reservation. This was quite fortunate as beyond the extraordinarily militant service, which does not like online bookings, the hotel and beach are below the standard of neighboring properties.

low-cost, okay hotel but no effort to do better
Reviewed By KitoblazeI should have known it would be an interesting stay when upon arrival we had to ask for the sheets to be changed because they were badly stained. Then 50 minutes after we had ordered lunch we were told it would be ready in 45 mins!! that's almost 2 hours (apparently, ingredients were frozen...). During the entire stay the wifi was only available in the dining area because a mobile wifi device was being used and the connection did not last more than for 3 hours. On the last day, the device was no where to be found, so there was no wifi! Unfortunately, it seemed the management couldn't be bothered to make our stay a little more pleasurable so we ended up spending most of the day at nearby Coucoue lodge and just coming back in time to sleep! Doubt I would recommend this place to anyone.

Mokobe qui s'est bien occupé de nous pour que nous passions un week-end agréable . Dommage que l'eau courante fonctionne si mal dans l'hôtel... ce qui n'est pas pratique pour les douches des petits (peut être prévoir des sceau d'eau en cas de coupure !)

Reviewed By ezd2013Sono un fotografo naturalista. Cercavo un hotel, in centro, ma vicino all'area all'entrata della laguna Ho trovato il posto giusto. Il complesso facile da raggiungere, la strada non è ben curata, ma, in effetti ad Assinie, le strade sono tutte disastrate. L'accesso è con sicurezza all'entrata del parking. La struttura ha stanze, abbastanza nuove, realizzate nel lati del giardino centrale. Le camere spaziose, molto pulite e, visto il periodo, sono sanizzate. Unico difetto, non ha un armadio. Il bagno puliti e ben curato. Ogni stanza ha un terrazzino che offre una bella visita. Il personale, molto gentile ed educato e sempre pronto a soddisfare le richieste. C'è l'accesso internet gratuito. L'area esterna, proprio sulla laguna, offre lettini da spiaggia, un'area con tavoli e sedie , con una copertura, in caso di pioggia, si può anche mangiare. Unico difetto :le sedie sono terribilmente scomode e non hanno un cuscino per la seduta. La vista è molto bella.
