It was my refuge and oasis at the end of a long work day, the relaxed atmosphere, the professionalism of the staff, the amazing food and service were simply top notch. Suzanne and Francois with the help of their entire staff will do their absolute best to tend to your every needs with reason of course. I plan on returning to Cote d'Ivoire in 2022... and for those of you wondering.. Yes I will book my stay at Villa MIA again. Frank

Reviewed By ModernWanderersA cute little hotel with an absolutely to-die-for atmosphere. An incredibly busy restaurant too, populated even by those not staying at the hotel. We ate dinner here on both nights and the food was excellent. Breakfast (not included in the room rate, though we accidentally thought it was) was simple, if not plentiful — and served in the fresh air, right on the beach! The housekeeping staff were quick and very thorough. Shower was hot and the pressure was good. Air-conditioning was also good and the mosquito net over the bed absolutely necessary — we got eaten alive by mozzies whilst eating dinner on our first night :( Any negatives? (1) You will be constantly hassled by hawkers who troll the beach but don’t (generally) come onto the property. They are selling everything from cloth to sunglasses to peanuts to inflatable bouncy balls and bikinis (and everything in between). (2) I can see in other reviews people complaining that nobody speaks any English at this hotel. That shouldn’t be an issue, as I don’t believe it is the duty of the staff to learn another language, considering the number of different nationalities that must come in here all the time. That being said, I don’t speak a word of French (though do try!) and the staff were still very polite, friendly and accommodating. They were never short of a smile and hand gestures went a long way. (3) If you plan to have dinner here on a Sunday night, be warned the kitchen may have run out of certain items (for us it was chicken) due to the VERY busy (mostly Ivorian) lunch crowd on the same day. (it was quiet as a mouse and we basically had the place to ourselves on the Sunday night and Monday morning) We only stayed for two nights but I could’ve easily hung here for a week, watching the local children play in the water, the horses gallop along the beach, and the surfers tackle the big waves. Definitely a fabulous gem, slightly off the beaten path. (Note that the hotel’s limited lounge chairs on the beach can get snapped up very quickly. We noticed that some people were saving seats by putting towels on them and even though we waited for a couple of hours, they never used the chairs. A tad bit frustrating. Also note that only half the chairs are adjustable. Otherwise you have to lie flat on them.)

A lucky choice
Reviewed By Radi RBy pure chance we found this inventive and fancy accomodation. It was a lucky choice. Very centrally situated it offers a very cozy atmosphere in anice garden. The containers (part of the fun!) are spacious, tastefully furnished and very well climatised. The breakfast is gorgeous. Composed according to your wishes and more than you can eat. The best point however was the hospitality of the host family. They helped us a lot with our individual trip through Ivory Coast. Usually we don't give five stars/points. Here we do! Radi & Sonja

Reviewed By Jon WJean Marc and his team really made me feel at home. Nothing was too much trouble and really appreciated being looked after as I stayed for quite a while, Rooms are good, beds are comfy , the food is very tasty. The breakfast is huge.

Our shuttles are at their disposal to transport them from the airport to the residence and vice versa, as well as from the residence to a taxi gate. * For a stay greater than or equal to five (5) days, our shuttle drops you free at your place of activity and brings you back when you return. * At the Touristhotel residence, we have a generator to help you avoid inconvenience in case of power failure, water suppressors, solar panels and solar water heaters. * Our restaurant is open from 07:00 to 22:00 * Continental breakfast is offered to one person each day for the Ambassador Suite, Presidential Suite and American Studio.

I booked for two night but,I ended up staying four weeks.The staff worked out a great financial deal for me. I travelled in many places in Africa but this Residence hotel has the best location,Amazing atmosphere surrounds the area & the staff were friendly. The staff looked after my car and parked it for me when needed. I appreciated the cleanses,security,Excellent Cuisine and bar. We're located in a residential area of Abidjan and well secured with security crew at the main gates 7days/7 and 24h/24. Only 30 mn to downtown and 40 mn to the airport. Our rooms are non smoking and equiped with air-conditionned, free internet wifi. We have a business center onsite for facsmile, photocopy, internet and many other services at a low rate price. We also have a complimentary airport pick up service (for any stay of more than 4 days) and a car rental service onsite.
A safe place after a long flight to Cote D'Ivoire but you'll pay a bit extra for it

After a long trip paying on credit card is a must before you get settled into the pace of life and how much things cost although the wifi on paying was sketchy to the point of painful. Room was adequate but at 30k cfa seemed pricey maybe 10% too much. A safe haven somewhat of a ride from the airport and the centre but worth it to recuperate.

Reviewed By The-VegenisteIf you want to find a more humane place where you are treated like a human being, then this is the place to be. Situated in Zone 4, it affords you lots of facilities not far from each other. A trip to the nearest mall, the artisanale market, restaurants, clubs etc. A car is at your disposal for pick up and drop off at the airport, the clothes are cleaned and on time, all on the price paid. There's a small and cosy bar, a restaurant, a swimming pool and large spacious rooms. The waiting staff make the place even more pleasant right from the security guy, to the receptionist and the other workers.
