The pousada is located in the Santo Inacio district of Atins, a small village located in the north-east of Brazil, more precisely in the state of Maranhao. The main tourist interest of the region are the famous desert lagoons "os Lencois"; unique magical place in the world. In recent years Atins beach has become a famous kitesurf spot. Our pousada is 400 m from the entrance to the nature reserve and 900 m from the beach. It offers all the conveniences to relax after long days of trek or kite. The pousada tries as much as possible to preserve the surrounding nature. It offers trips the transports to the beach and to the center of Atins. A restaurant run by a local chef offers delicious menus.

Reviewed By Jade JEnded ut there after a booking issue and what a place ! Such a friendly staff, peaceful and huge garden (even a zipline). It may be a bit further from the main beach but daily pick up/drop off make it very convenient.

The owner couple is really kind, welcoming and make you feel very comfortable. The price was cheap and the place good. We ate a copious and delicious breakfast. Also, the man owner took me to the station where I could buy our boat tickets for the same day, that was really nice of him! They really are two beautiful angels. We are a very nice hostel in the city center of Barreirinhas which is the main city for people who are visiting Lencois maranhenses National Park. We are just five minutes of everything the travellers need, like restaurants, supermarkets, bakeries, and banks. travel agencies and the city wharf are walk distance. We offer shared rooms with air conditionair, hot shower and breakfast included.

Reviewed By 466elijIt is a awesome, quiet place where you can relax. But at night there are some things organized - not a complete party but some nice gathering with food and music. After that you can go out for more drinks if you want. The breakfast is good - and the people who work there really try to help you with everything, organizing tours - even got me booked another place in Atins - so just everything perfect. The wifi is pretty fast btw which was important for me since I am working remote.

Trekking in the desert is incredible, espcially with a guide like him. It s not only a nice place to stay, you ll really feel home here. Nothing bad can happen anymore once you decide to stay here for a while, Patricio will always find a way to solve all your questions and problems ❤❤❤ Beleza pura!!

Reviewed By brunapm91The environment of the hostel is great, quite welcoming. I was able to solve everything inside the hostel, from sightseeing and rides to the transfers. It also has a shared kitchen and grocery stores nearby. It was the best cost/benefit I found in the region.

Peaceful - quiet - cosy place
Reviewed By luciek200My twin sister and I stayed at Casa Da Praia before and after our 3-day visit to the Lençois and it was absolutely great ! The place is cosy, the chairs outside as well as the restaurant allow you to relax, enjoy the surroundings and sharing some time with the owner who is very welcoming, kind and flexible :) The breakfast was copious and very tatsy, we absolutely loved it ! The owner was very nice, giving us advise and being very patient with our bad Spanish / Portuguese knowledge :) Thank you for everything ! All the best Lucie and Marie , the twins (enclosed a picture of the owner and us, hoping she remembers us =) )
