We had a fantastic time riding horses on the beach, followed by a romantic dinner on the beach. We were picked up from our resort and driven to the starting location. Instructions were given and everyone was matched up with an appropriate horse based on riding experience. We proceeded down dirt roads and trails until we got to the beach. Then we proceeded down the beach quite some way. If you like, you have the opportunity to go into the water with your horse. We declined as it was a bit cold. But, I think it would be great in warmer weather. When we returned to the starting location we were picked up again and taken to a restaurant on the beach. We had a table set up just for the two of us on the beach with a fire nearby. The dinner was wonderful. My wife had the fish and I had fajitas. You have the option of just doing the horseback riding without the dinner. But, you’d really be missing out on something special. After dinner we were driven back to our resort. It was one of the highlights of our vacation and I think an exceptional value for what we got.
