You can also choose to a full day (8-10 hour) tour, with a visit to both museums, as well as a lunch break in a restaurant. EasyTrapani is the best car rental under the sun. We've rented the car twice and each time it was a great choice. The rental was very quick and easy - not a single problem. This is how a car rental should operate like. While renting the car from Katania airport we've been welcomed and served on the highest level. This is also the only car rental you don't have to use a credit card - definitely a great advantage over hundreds of other rentals. We've rented Fiat Panda which is the perfect car for Sicilian cities and roads. Another great thing - Private tours. Gianni is the living encyclopedia when it comes to Sicily and its history and culture. He will show you places tourist never visit, tell you many interesting facts and stories about them and bring you closer to Sicilian heritage. Very professional, flexible and ready to make the tour about you and your interests. Not unlike many tour guides, who only stick to itinerary and have no consideration for the pace and needs of customers. I wholeheartedly recommend Gianni and Easy Trapani if you plan going to Sicily, Sardinia or mainland Italy - this is your best choice!

I booked this tour online and paid €60. When I arrived at the port I saw the same trip was €40 if bought there. I paid an additional 50%for the privilege of booking online!!! Also I had to pay an additional €2.50 City tax which wasn't notified. I contacted the company and they said it was tour operator costs - no refund. They said no one had complained before - I find that really hard to believe. Unless you like throwing your money away I'd suggest waiting until you get to the port. The trip itself is enjoyable and the islands are lovely. Under covid they, naturally can't provide snorkeling equipment but definitely bring your own. So worth it. Lunch was pasta with tinned tomato and slice of melon. Bottled water was a plastic cup with lunch. A good day out if you can get past the rip off.

Came here with my husband for our wedding anniversary and we had a lovely experience is Cassa de montabalno. Maria the housekeeper was amazing. Very helpful friendly and when we arrived we had to organise a Covid test. She organised it with the help of Ivana and we were very happy that they helped us. Maria was a source of information and arranged us to go on a day tour on a Montabalno Day Tour with Nunzio the taxi driver. We had a wonderful day. I would highly recommend this b&b to anyone who loves the tv show. Only negative was we missed the season and not many restaurants were open but we didn’t starve. We bought our food in the local shop and ate on the balcony in the evening. Thank you for having us!

In the mountain behind Trapani, stands a medieval village, now a city of science, rich in traditions, history, local crafts and breathtaking views. In half an hour of road that climbs up the mountain, showing views that embrace a panorama that ranges from Marsala to San Vito Lo Capo, we reach Erice Vetta. Since surrounded by walls, the village is visited on foot, entering through Porta Trapani, where a series of small cobbled lanes will lead you to the discovery of landscapes and corners of a village really characteristic. Entering more and more into the small village we will be able to observe the ancient art of weaving the Ericini carpets, famous all over the world and still handmade today. You can not miss a stop to taste the typical sweets of Erice and the famous "Genoese". Continuing through the many narrow streets that intertwine with each other we can also observe the numerous ceramics of remarkable value hand painted with the bright colors of yellow, blue and red.

Inclusions: Travel with minivan or GT bus, Professional and local driver guide, Tasting of typical products, Free time to visit the medieval village of Erice

I couldn’t put correct date on this review - I did this tour with my two children in August 2019 and originally posted it then. I have had a message to say that I had posted it under the wrong company (one with a very similar name). I would like to re-post the review as we had such a brilliant day with our guide and would like to recommend the tour company to others whenever this type of activity goes ahead again! Our guide Ms Ivanova was very knowledgeable and friendly. The tour took in many places around the city and we also visited the Uffizi in the afternoon. I was with my children aged 6 and 9 and both really enjoyed this day. They felt included and learned a lot. The guide met us at the times planned and gave plenty of opportunities for questions and were able to answer any queries. Everything was organised well and went smoothly. We were unable to book a tour inside the Duomo but actually this one which took us all the way around the outside and to other fascinating parts of the city was perfect for my family.
