The walls are well maintained and not something I would have traditionally seen elsewhere. Hard to believe that on the other side is a city centre.

The Heidelberg Rathaus is totally in the center of things - between the Holy Ghost church and the old student bars (Red Ox and Seppl), presiding over the summer markets, and currently over the Christmas markets. Not so easy to find a parking place if you have business to conduct!
