A restored fort dating back to 1867 overlooks the harbor.

A very hot day and we decided to walk (a mistake) , the fort is at the top of a very very steep incline and after reaching the top realised why most people were taking taxis or electric bikes. The fort itself is in remarkable condition and is now a museum with excellent historical displays. The fort occupies a commanding position over the bay and the views are magnicficent.
