This NP has a lot of variety & heaps to offer from walking trails to spectacular scenery to a multitude of wildlife encounters. You have Cape Borda Lighthouse on the NW Coast, Cape du Couedic Lighthouse on the SW Coast, the Remarkable Rocks, Admirals Arch, Rocky River, Snake Lagoon & many wilderness trails to explore. Sadly our visit was cut short by extreme weather conditions which led to the NP being closed for safety sake. Will be back to finish our exploration for sure, just hope the dirt tracks have been graded recently !

It takes about 30 minutes via ferry from Triabunna to get to the island. Make sure you take everything you need (food and water) because there's no place to buy supplies once you leave other than on the ferry. There are as number of walks of various grades and all on well formed and maintained tracks suited to almost any level of fitness. Island scenery is gorgeous, from white sandy beaches and beautiful coastal rock formations too walks amongst tall timbers and across windswept, bare coastal grasslands. Some interesting historic building to explore as well. Great for a day trip to see some beautiful and relatively unspoiled Tasmania that's a little away from the beaten track.

We would like to thank the team at Ivanhoe wines for making us feel so welcome our first time we were taken care of by sommelier Matt who was very knowledgeable and personable also brilliant with our doggie Archie, we became members! Second time Tracey owner/manger welcome us and we were so well looked after by Kirsty Paula and Nathalie and all loved Archie!! Ivanhoe will always be a great reason to come back to the Hunter Valley!!

Fox Creek Winery is my favorite winery in McLaren Vale. Their Vixen Sparkling Shiraz and other wines are excellent and I always use them for functions and entertaining.

Such a beautiful fresh water lake, only the depth changes the colour, so turquoise in the shallows. Try cleaning your jewellery in the sand. I have cleaned my watch and watch face many times, that tells you how soft the sand is. So pure.

Beautiful place to visit, swim and snorkel for all ages. An easy walk from car park and short easy walk to Elephant Rocks, both very worth seeing.

This beach is incredible It has lovely white sand and you can walk out on the sand bar There are beautiful local fish that are rather inquisitive and if you’re lucky you might see a sea turtle Definitely worth the drive

The Kangaroo Sanctuary is located on a 188-acre wildlife reserve just outside of Alice Springs. Owned by Chris 'Brolga' Barnes, it is fulfilling his life-long dream of a sanctuary that is home to orphaned kangaroos. Most of the rescued kangaroos have been rehabilitated to the wild, however some have learnt to love humans too much and remain permanently at the sanctuary. Take the sunset guided tour (Tuesday to Friday) throughout our reserve and meet the Kangaroo characters from Kangaroo Dundee (BBC/Nat Geo Series). Our motto is Animals Come First!

If you are ever in Alice Springs make sure you make time to attend @thekangaroosanctuary the work Brolga has done and is doing for these beautiful animals is amazing.
