We went here several times during our stay in Benitses, as we found the taverna enjoyable, the 2 guys front of house made it for us, they were so friendly and just added to the atmosphere of the taverna and couldn't do enough for you.The food was pretty good, I'd say slighty better than alot of places we have eated previously but not quite our No. 1. It is your normal Greek menu and portions were very good, for me the Mousaka was excellent along with the prawn saganaki, there was never a rush to eat and leave and we noticed alot of people seemed to return on a regular basis.We enjoyed the food, the atmosphere and would recommend visiting here for something to eat.

Undeniably the best Swordfish steak i have ever had. Service was very friendly and the waiter even sang to us. Food came out very quickly and was very cheap, a must visit if you are in Corfu.

On returning to Benitses for a short break, couldn't wait to go back to La Pergola. Food delicious on both evenings we visited. The mushrooms wrapped in ham and deep fried are lovely and tasty and the tzatziki is true to form wonderful in taste. Mains of spaghetti bolognese and steak with mushroom sauce hit the spot. Visit you will not be disappointed. The host is always milling about from table to table and this year we were even joined by a swallow in the beams. What can I say? If you are anywhere near Benitses you must try this place for breakfast or brunch! The coffee is of great quality - I especially like the latte and I also tried the freddo cappuccino with a little sugar which was a good choice for a coffee in the sun. Now let me tell you about the breakfast - well I could have been healthy and chosen scrambled eggs to keep my protein up but decided to opt for the waffles with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce It was delicious!! I have seen they also do pancakes with fresh berries and honey and yoghurt - so this will be my next treat!!

We were treated to an evening here with some local friends so they chose all the food for us. What an amazing selection of food that arrived. So many elements of the menu are uniquely locally sourced which really does showcase the dishes, looking forward to a return visit later this year.Thank you very much for your review. We actually travelled here from Ermones based purely on the trip adviser reviews and were not disappointed. We had a tremendous meal of mixed starters (ribs were superb!) followed by beef satay and chilli pork. Both were so delicious and satisfied our craving for good quality and tasty Chinese food. Service was friendly and attentive without being over the top. We loved this place so much, what a hidden gem, just off the main strret. We were so happy we found this palce on our first day of our holiday. we sunbathed around the pool, free sunbeds if you buy a drink or food. We ate here nearly every day and the food here is the best in Benitses in our opinion. The place is run by a lovely family who make the time to chat to you but are never intrusive.The food we ate was flavoursome, and delicous, my husband particularly reccommend the homemade meat balls. Thank you very much, we are happy you enjoyed your time with us

The restaurant is excellent as the majority of other restaurants/terraces in this area. It differs from other places by a very special and funny decorations related to wine. Please refer to the attached pictures. All of these boards are just wonderful. They are as wonderful as the white local wine offered in this place. Not to forget, food and services in this place were simply perfect.

Very cozy and friendly atmosphere! It's the place you always wanted to meet with your peers. It could be the next "FRIENDS' Haunt". We were lucky enough to entertain ourselves with live folk music and in line with savoury appetizers guarantees a faithful clientele!! Young and smiley staff, students around, authentic traditional feeling! Among the pros are economic prices (keep it that way ), proximity to city center and frequency of live bands!
